My son is a high school freshman and has a leftist teacher for environmental "science". He is pushing man made climate change and ozone depletion. Any recent book recommendations for his age? Web sites?
Also, any suggestions on how to take his tests and answer the way he is "supposed to" but making it clear he doesn't agree?
Thanks!
Great thread thanks to all who posted reference sources. Bookmarking for future reference.
I was wondering if just prefacing answers with, “the theory says...”
Thank you everyone! Very helpful responses!
Someo e could make a lot of money putting out a conservative series of books aimed at children and teens.
The teacher will probably pick up on the condescension. It's safer for your son to just jump over the teacher's hurdles and get the A.
After that, he can post an honest review here:

If he follows up on the recommendations in this thread, he will be very well informed about AGW.
As you already know. "Climate Change alarmist" do not get in to the depths of the feedback loop or anything else technical. What they love to read are known scholars such as Michio Kaku (they LOVE him.) He brush's over Climate change in his book "Physics of the Future." He also writes many articles such as this one I will link.
What's funny is how he writes which anyone with basic logic skills can see his errors. Weather is consistent only if you're talking about "global warming"
From the article I'm going to link:
"There is no single smoking gun that can point us to the origin of these monster snowstorms. ... The first is pure chance. ...But the second is global warming."

Michio Kaku also indirectly funds the web site skepticalscience.com which a few years ago advocated for our execution if we disagreed with them.
