PepsiCo CEO: Employees are scared for their safety after Trump's election
PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi on election: People are asking, 'Are we safe?'
Head of Pepsi Issues Unreal Trump Statement
Time to Boycott NOW
Dear XXXXX,
Thank you for writing.
One of the truths that emerged from this election is that the mainstream media often fails to present a straightforward account of current events. Unfortunately, the coverage of Ms. Nooyis recent comments reflects this. Some media outlets chose to present her remarks in a fashion that captured neither the spirit of her message nor the context in which they were given. For example, you would never know from the headlines that the very first thing she did when the topic of the election came up was to congratulate the President-elect Trump. She also highlighted three primary points of his agenda. The following are excerpts from the discussion that provide a more complete view of her statements.
"First of all, I want to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump."
We will all come together and unify the country."
"At some point, were going to have to pick up the big issues of technological unemployment, global trade, immigration all of which needs reform."
Separately, the morning after the election, Ms. Nooyi sent a letter to PepsiCo employees making the following points:
"Yesterday, across this country, Americans turned out in record numbers to make their voices heard. I want to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump on his victory, and I wish him all the best
as he begins the work of stewarding this country in the months and years ahead."
"I do hope that starting today, we can begin the process of healing, the process of overcoming the divisions that have been exposed during this campaign. I hope that starting today, we can refocus on the work of forging a partnership with one another to build our common future."
We are, first and foremost, Americans. We are, first and foremost, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, who want a better life for ourselves and our families.
And the only way of ushering in that better life, the only way of moving forward as a country, is by walking together, hand-in-hand.
The coverage by mainstream media, while it may have made for clickable headlines, misrepresented Ms. Nooyis views.
Thanks again for writing. I hope this further information is helpful.
PepsiCo Consumer Relations
There’s nothing that this loser could possibly say that would make me change my mind on not buying ANY of Pepsico products for the rest of my life.
Where’s Joan Crawford when we need her?
It’s enjoyable to read all this backpedaling from Democrat/liberal losers.
Sounds like she didn’t make any of the disparaging comments they said she did. Have their been articles about her complaining about the misrepresentation?
I don’t drink soda of any kind anymore. I don’t miss it, either.
Too late big mouth- love that Diet Coke and various store brand alternatives.
She is a liar like Illiarly and the rest of the rat elites.
im thinking billions are at stake with relative to federal contracts.
She has to GO!!! PepsiCo shareholders will lose MILLIONS!! LOL!
I work for a fortune 200 company - none of our executives felt the need to say anything about the election.. We’ve got work to do and money to make.. sheesh..
All this tells me is that PepsiCo as a company has endorsed the CEO’s remarks. All the better to make it clear where their company, and I assume all its shareholders stand.
Do we really need anything from Pepsi-Co, Hollywood, the lying pollsters, ABCNNBCBS, faux phoney news, all the left wing mediots/fish wraps, and other Never Trumpsters, listed below in our lives?:

Pepsico products = processed snacks/faux foods loaded with sugar, processed junk, sugar, and carbs may be a high contributing factor in this nations overweight and type 2 diabetic health problems.
She forgot to mention this part:
“I had to answer a lot of questions, from my daughters, from my employees, they were all in mourning,” Nooyi said. “Our employees are all crying, and the question that they are asking, especially those that are not white: ‘Are we safe?’ Women are asking, ‘Are we safe?’ LGBT people are asking, ‘Are we safe?’ I never thought I’d have had to answer those questions.”
Sounds like she’s pretty good at talking out of both sides of her mouth. Must be why they pay her the big bucks. Soon to be “paid” her the big bucks though. The dummy should have boned up on this internet thingy... it’s really good at outing people that speak with forked tongues. Hillary too. She would be President-elect right now if she had bothered to learn that simple fact. Hurray for dummies!
Let me try.
First, let me congratulate Pepsi on being so friendly to the crowd that is now rioting, burning cars, and beating people up. I'm sure these lost souls appreciate the corporate support.
Secondly, I sent an email to my brother-in-law in which I said that Hillary Clinton is a good golfer and wears sensible shoes.
And finally, my remarks that Pepsi tastes like dog urine cut with strychnine was part of a larger speech in which I declared that all Pepsi products were commissioned by the Devil, and could poison a pit viper.
So you see, the quote you read is only a small part of the story that makes for clickable headlines, but does not reflect my true sentiment, which is that I'd rather drink the sweat off an elephant's balls than Pepsi-Cola.
I’ll miss my occasional Mountain Dew, but otherwise, meh.
to late pepsico.
Thanks for posting this.
The elite rats only apologize, when they are caught red handed like this elite B$tch.
For decades they have gotten by with these vile acts.
Those days are over!
CAmpaign contributions by Ms Nooyi?
So I inherited some Pepsi stocks several years ago. It was left to me by an aunt who hated, hated the Clintons . Not sure if I should sell it or what?
