Letting Michigan fix Flint would be symbolic of a return to state's rights...

Working in partnership with Flint and setting a template for getting it done correctly would make sense. Think about it. If Trump could have some of the Army Corps of Engineers become specialists in water system recovery projects, the jobs (1) could be done correctly and on budget/on time and (2) there would be uniformity to getting the job done right.

While we’re at it could we have them police the streets, run the factories, teach in the schools, collect garbage, nurse the sick, feed the poor, pick the lettuce...

No. You get more of what you subsidize. Trump’s election was for nothing if the federal government continues to be the savior of first resort.
