While President Barack Obama, defeated 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and President-elect Donald Trump have all called for unity, PepsiCo CEO and chairperson Indra Nooyi has instead chosen to stir the pot.
She did so Thursday at the New York Times DealBook Conference in Manhattan by issuing unnecessary attacks on her future president.
How dare you talk about women that way! she exclaimed in a statement at the conference, referencing comments Trump made while on the campaign trail and in an old Access Hollywood tape leaked last month.

I for one think she needs to be even more vocal.
She should spend hundereds of millions in ads saying that If you voted for Trump to go to hell, we don’t want your business. She should go one step further and change all labels and signage stating “NOT FOR TRUMP SUPPORTERS”. She should use all the anti Trump Hollywood folks for the ads and they should let their rage out in the most expensive prime time commercials.
Walk in PepsiCo businesses should post Yuuuge signs at the entrances. NO TRUMP SUPPORTERS ALLOWED.
That’ll show us.
She will be seen as a corporate visionary, as it will obviously be great for business.
Just sell sodas already, and let the experts deal with government.
I just found this which is awesome!
Thanks for the PING, Sis!
I appreciate it very much!
I think President Elect Trump is
going to be a fine President, I am
already proud of him!
He went through so much to win this
and he really does love us regular
working class folks!
That’s where the Dems (among many other mistakes)
made a mistake. They Really did not know just HOW ANGRY
we were, They found out though!
LOL
Coke is better
Both gonna be pricey in Chi-town thanks to massive POST-election tax hike from gutless scum county board.
RUFFLES??? That’s going to be tough....
.GT.
Pepsi is run by an untCola?
I stopped buying all soda years ago when gas prices dropped, high prices being their excuse for raising prices, and those lower gas prices did not result in lower soda prices. Now I drink water, coffee, tea and the world hasn’t ended.
I am a music nut myself JerseyDvl. Download a lot of the 80’s rock and rock classics on my MP3. Wife and I haven’t gone to a movie theater in years. I do have an Android. I will have to ask my daughter how to download the stuff you are referring to. Ha, just funny how I have to ask my daughter or son how to do things on my phone or computer.
you really think they give a hoot?

Yes, for these reasons:
1. I won’t be the only shareholder calling and telling Pepsi that we need her to be a CEO, not a politician.
2. A number of offended Trump supporters will avoid buying Pepsi products and therefore her comments are bad for business.
3. I will remind them that Pepsi’s performance over the past year is a mediocre 8% and that the CEO needs to focus on increasing shareholder value and on debt management rather than on President Elect Trump.
4. I’m just one shareholder but I post my opinions on several financial boards.
5. And lastly, I want a response from the CEO in writing. If she won’t do that, then I will know that you are right: they don’t give hoot and I will then sell my not insignificant number of shares.
Between this and their use of fetal stem cells in their testing processes it’s a no brainer.
You forgot to add Hollywood on your list. We don’t go to movies. ;)

Yes, we need to see them finished, weighed in the balance and found wanting.
We drink spring water from a natural spring that flows 24/7/365. It is 20 miles west of us. We get 50 - 75 gallons at a time in 5 gal jugs that fit on our water cooler. We have two other natural sources to choose from, but this one is the best.
When we do a road trip we freeze it in gallon jugs, use it instead of ice to keep anything cold in a cooler. As it thaws, we have cold water to drink.
I had a zero a few weeks back. The dispenser was out of Coke.
Zero was disgusting. Never again.
And what moron came up with that name? Same one who came up with New Coke?
I prefer real sugar in my cola and wish Coke would use it rather than HFC, not that I drink it much.
Ouch! I like some of those products. Can’t we just send Pepsi hate mail?
See # 6. I label them as Follywood.
wow, I already live entirely free of Pepsi products, so how am I going to boycott?
Way to go!
