I was fed up with DirectV for a long time. I’d been paying $98.96 for what amounts to basic cable but with two DVRs and HD.
I called them up in late October and told the customer rep I want to speak to whoever I have to cancel my service. They asked why and I said “you’re gouging me - have been for years” “I’m just going to full streaming elsewhere - it works great”.
Long story short, they cut my bill nearly in HALF. So I’ll keep them for 12 more months and then drop them because I like the DVRs.
I too got fed up of Direct TV , but they refused to even drop my fees, , but said I could have a free movie. PFFTT.
I got ATT for half the rice, and got more channels, and got One America News,.
