If no one goes to a 49ers game, does it actually happen?
The answer to that question is yes, because the 49ers' 34-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday is definitely going to count in the standings, even though almost no one showed up for the game.

Yeah Roger Badhell is a politically correct gutless reactionary wonder.
He needs to come back to Philadelphia. We want to measure him for our Wicker Man celebration.
My money is on him returning to Oregon.
Majority of people in Santa Clara county are foreign born and recent immigrant, they have no attachment with NFL. Bad location for game.
Just buy one of the standard bad guy targets and past CK’s face on it. Only one point for hitting the ‘fro, more for dead center.
I can imagine 50,000 sloshed football fans heading up Tasman to Dave and Buster’s. At least half of the parking isn’t under water for most of the season.
keep it up folks...watch a little but don't get too consumed by these people....they are not worth it...
maybe when Steve Largent and Jim Zorn were around, but not now...
“My money is on him returning to Oregon.”
That might be a good bet!
Perhaps the country will have a great awakening and people will start pursuing constructive past times instead of watching a bunch of grown men running and jumping and throwing and catching.
One of the greatest game in the history of pro football happened when there was even less in attendance than this. It was when Steve Young and Jim Kelly were in the USFL.
I wonder how many 10s of millions this jerk devalued the 49ers.
Local sports talk and media and national keep on denying the impact caused by the BLM sycophants. That jackass has no right to express himself within the confines of a corporation such as the NFL. Stay in the damn tunnel if you do not want to partake in what 99% of others are doing. Such a shame how lucky he is to play a kids game, paid millions and live in the greatest country on earth. I think he should do what many others do. Keep his personal opinion to himself, work with children and give generously to charity. That and the game itself is becoming unwatchable. The NFL is a bloated multi-billion dollar empire that is spitting on the game and alienating its fans at a fast rate. The Sunday night football game was the worst game that I have ever seen outside peewee football.
He's not playing, he's Box 0ffice poison, who would buy out his contract? Will SF take the loss and trade him anyway? Maybe they should, for the good of the team?
Oh well maybe he's not done - after all someone hired Michael Vick...
Don’t taunt me. I’d celebrate that with a fine brandy and cigar.
No Taunting.
Maybe we can send him back to your area for your measurement and enjoyment.
Well is Chip Kelley’s NFL experience any worse than Nick Saban’s was?
ATM machines.
The lights are helpful by preventing extreme light-shadow contrast that TV cameras don’t take to so well.
“In all fairness to crapperskunk”
I love it! Colon Crapperskunk. I’m stealing it.
