If no one goes to a 49ers game, does it actually happen?
The answer to that question is yes, because the 49ers' 34-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday is definitely going to count in the standings, even though almost no one showed up for the game.

I didn’t go to the game. Best 49er’s game I never saw.
Isn’t it illegal in most states to sell or advertise a target depicting an actual person, or is that just MA?
Yes a lot of people get season tickets hoping to sell the game tickets on StubHub. Looks like there weren’t many takers.
Your posted pic is one major reason the 49er stands are empty.
We went to a high school game at the same stadium, two years ago to watch DeLasalle beat another good high school team.
There may have been as many people at the high school game.
It still took two hours to get out of the traffic jam and on to a crowded freeway on a Saturday.
With LGBT activist Levi’s and Kaepernick, not much left to cheer about there.
When I decided to boycott the games I thought I was really going to miss the games. Turns out that I now don’t miss them at all. It was tough the Sunday the Skins played Dallas but now I don’t even notice.
After 28 years of Niner devotion, I am solidly #NeverNiners due to Jed York and Crappernick - who BTW deserve each other.
Trumpfault.
“Chip Kelly is a black hole who will suck all joy out of a professional football franchise.”
There are rumors that Chipster will be back coaching a college team next fall.
Unfortunately the NFL is a cartel where profits are shared across teams. SF will still gets cuts from TV deals and such.
Instead of burning down a CVS, Kaepernick is burning down the NFL.
Most fans who say they are boycotting are never going to come back, because once they find something else to do on Sunday afternoons they realize that watching an NFL game on TV is an enormous waste of their time. Most of these "boycotting" fans will never come back even if Colin K. gets a haircut and starts standing up respectfully for the national anthem ... even if he publicly endorses Donald Trump.
Last nights snooze game between Seattle and Arizona will drive down NFL TV ratings even further - no touchdowns, continuous penalties by both teams, missed field goals, and finally a tie score 6-6 at the end of overtime.

I have close to 5 decades of being a 49 fan.
Now I am a former Niner fan. Jeb and Colon deserve each other.
Don’t know. That’s why I posed it as a silhouette. Didn’t some Letterman-produced show have a GWB target while he was POTUS?
At least it's not like the old days at Candlestick. Traffic from the game was routed over surface streets through the Hunters Point neighborhood, AKA the hood. Leaving a Monday night game used to be exciting.
BTW, I went to nfl.com and looked at the highlights. They were scrupulously avoiding showing the crowd, or lack there of. Never seen so much turf in a highlight reel.
That means dumping 80,000 people onto ordinary surface streets, from all directions, all at once.

Endorsing Donald Trump might woo me back...but nothing short of that.
