Full title : "Christians Are Winning The War With The 20 million new STD cases in the US each year and half of these are among young people 15-24 years old.
And you might think that a prescription pill will cure these? Think again. Health officials are now warning about the super gonorrhea (forget the old gonorrhea) and super chlamydia, resistant to all known antibiotics. The reports also reveal that 93% of HIV-positive gay and bisexual men have anal HPV infections.
Now think about this for a moment. If just released reports show a 20 million increase in STD each year and a half in the U.S. alone and that we are in a 20 year high, if this continues, in a decade, this might multiply to 200 million infected. We have become a society filled with sexual infections:
The federal health agency found young people and gay and bisexual men continued to face the greatest risk of becoming infected with STD.
We have reached a decisive moment for the nation, said Dr. Jonathan Mermin, director of CDCs National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention in a news release. STD rates are rising, and many of the countrys systems for preventing STDs have eroded
The 2015 data should American 15 to 24 years old accounted for nearly two-thirds of chlamydia diagnoses, and half of the gonorrhea cases. Gay and bisexual men accounted for the majority of gonorrhea cases, and 82 percent of syphilis cases. The health agency also said antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea may be higher among men who had sex with men.
Do you see 82 percent of syphilis cases are amongst gay and bisexual men?

Damn!
Too late, sorry.
I am a Christian who admits to the sin of oftentimes hating those who wish to destroy God and those who love Him.
Which means I oftentimes hate homosexuals who hate God. And yes, I get a bit of schaudenfreud from it when God fights back against them and wins, such as when God lets satan pull a Job on the homosexuals via disease.
However, I confess this sin of hatred to God, ask for His forgiveness, then repent as much as I can, knowing all too well I will sin again, and thus, need God's help in overcoming my sinful nature.
Most Christians have this struggle. And God seems okay with it, knowing each of us is slowly changing for the better as we follow Christ.
God does not expect Christians to become sinless instantaneously. Otherwise, He wouldn't have asked us to continually confess our sins to Him and ask for His forgiveness.
This isn’t a curse from God, and it isn’t something to gloat about.
Biblically, national judgements only.
(as the example you posted illustrates)
Individuals will be judged “according to their deeds,” when the books are opened.

Re #78:
That was at the same time that He forbade the eating of baby back ribs, wasn’t it?

Revelation ch 20 reveals his judgement plan.
(after the thousand years are finished)
.
>> “That was at the same time that He forbade the eating of baby back ribs, wasnt it?” <<
No, way after.
Pork was already “unclean” when Noah loaded the animals into the ark. They loaded 6 pairs of the clean animals, and only 1 pair each of the unclean animals.
(So, obviously Noah didn’t eat any unclean animals, or they would have become extinct, thus depriving you of your opportunity to worship Tammuz)
Actually, when God curses, it is more likely He is disciplining those whom He loves, as in believers.
Unbelievers and those who engage in such thinking as in the LGBT “lifestyle”, like all other humans prior to salvation, are condemned already. Until they come to understand the Gospel, face God and confess their sins through faith in what Christ provided at the Cross, they remain condemned.
So God really doesn’t have to go curse them any more. They are already condemned.
This doesn’t mean that there also are consequences of their decisions and behavior they must suffer.
Do Christians write headlines saying that cirrhosis of the liver is “God’s punishment” for chronic drunkenness? That ignorance is “God’s punishment” for government schools?
Sodomy has all sorts of horrible natural consequences, besides being intrinsically vicious. Attributing them to some special, focused vengeance from God makes Christians look like creeps.
Ready for incoming proof-texts from the fundies.

Agreed. Yet, it is what it is...
Fulton Sheen was asked the secret to being a popular preacher. “Easy. Preach about the sins they don’t commit.”
“Biblically, national judgements only... Individuals will be judged ‘according to their deeds,’ when the books are opened.”
I try to keep an open mind and especially not misconstrue positions that are put forward about what the Bible teaches on subjects that are not exceedingly clear, but I am having difficulty either following your line of reasoning or accepting the evidence you are putting forward.
Individuals are certainly judged here on this earth, during their lifetimes, during this current age of super-abounding grace. Certainly not EVERY individual for EVERY sin is judged NOW, or the final judgement would be unnecessary. But there are times and cases where God does judge individuals, and not just nations.
Acts 5:3-6
But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.
Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
Acts 12:22-23
And the people kept shouting, The voice of a god and not of a man! Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him [i.e. Herod], because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.
1 Corinthians 5:12-13
For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person.
1 Corinthians 11:29-32
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lords body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
1 Timothy 5:24
Some mens sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.
1 Peter 4:17
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
“Revelation ch 20 reveals his judgement plan.”
But chapter 20 is proceeded by at least a dozen chapters of non-stop judgement. Many judgements in these chapters are directed at individuals or groups other than nations.
Revelation 2:14-16
But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
Revelation 2:20-23
Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Revelation 9:3-6
Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
Revelation 11:3-6
And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
Revelation 15:3-4
They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the saints!
Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested.
Revelation 16:5-7
And I heard the angel of the waters saying:
You are righteous, O Lord,
The One who is and who was and who is to be,
Because You have judged these things.
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
And You have given them blood to drink.
For it is their just due.
And I heard another from the altar saying, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.
“That was at the same time that He forbade the eating of baby back ribs, wasnt it?”
No. It wasn’t.
Commands from God to Israel, and no other nations, to abstain from certain foods, was not given until centuries AFTER He burned Sodom to ashes.
For example, in Leviticus 11, He describes animals that are to be considered “unclean FOR YOU”. That is, they are unclean for Israelites.
God also gave certain individuals additional food restrictions for specific purposes. For example, He gave Ezekiel an exact recipe for the food he could eat for many months:
Ezekiel 4:9
Also take for yourself wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread of them for yourself. During the number of days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it.
He also provided manna for Israel for forty years while they wandered in the wilderness.
God allowed for eating meat beginning after the deluge. He did not restrict eating “unclean” animals from anyone except Israel.
But on the subject of homosexual sex, God pronounced judgment for all people, for all times. When He addressed it in Leviticus 18:
Leviticus 18:22, 24-29
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination....
Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
Further, homosexual sex was described as a capital crime by Christ and the apostles as well.
Matthew 11:23
And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
Romans 1:27, 32
Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due... who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
I will leave God to do the comparing. You do know the seven deadly sins don’t you? I could be very wrong but it seems like your hatred of the sin has been surpassed by the hatred of the sinner.
er.
*but it seems like your hatred of the sin has been surpassed by the hatred of the sinner*
Have you read my previous posts on this thread?
I didn’t agree with the author’s assertions - and I hate nobody ~ I simply posted what the author said, (FYI) but didn’t offer any endorsement for his position!
Have a blessed day...

I NEVER SAID it was a ‘curse from god’ nor did I gloat - I simply posted what the author wrote - it was only meant to show the facts...
Have a delightful day.
It confuses me to see Christians celebrating the pain and suffering of other sinners.
****************************
Like all the jumping up and down and verbal back slapping that goes on when a condemned person is executed?
One can be pro death penalty without wallowing in victory when a human being is executed and even wishing that someone “burns in hell”. We do not and can not know anothers relationship with the Savior at the moment of that persons death.

Take another Xanax and get to bed...
Your mother had one of those old-fashioned Bibles that talked about "faith, hope and charity." Heterosupremacist has the new, improved version, that changes that verse to read "fear, rage and bigotry."
