That is also why no kill rescues screen folks and do not open on or close to Halloween.
I had to fill out an application and give 3 referrals which were indeed called by the gal I was rescuing my new cat from. She then even came out to my house last week to make sure everything was on the up and up and that my house would be suitable for the cat.
So I am now the proud owner of a 5 month old kitten named Spook.........(her original name was Azalea)...

This is lunacy as this will not reduce the feral cat problem, it will make it worse!
It will just make it easier for anyone to get a cat that sooner or later will have babies the owner really does not want.
We have a house cat that is “fixed”. It was expensive and many simply will not do it.
A feral mommy cat moved by our house and had babies. In a few months most will winter kill. It’s natures way.

For it to be like the cat “rescue”, feeding program at Dana Point, CA., they will need to slip in the random skunk.
We couldn’t take a walk at dusk in this gorgeous marina due to the skunks fattened up on cat kibble.

I tried to buy a stuffed Maine Coon from a taxidermist vending machine, but only the hind end came out and got stuck. So I ripped the door off and mounted it. It was a cat-ass-trophy.

Just picked up a couple of cats from a neighbor/buddy for rodent patrol. One is solid black with green eyes. Very popular for the halloween wackos.
Low cost spay/neuter machines. Insert 5 dollar bill, choose gender, insert cat/dog in one end, and it comes out the other end fixed.
That’s no ordinary cat. A Maine Coon, perhaps?
A domestic and wild cat mix, I think.
Ain’t that the truth? My wife’s Maine Coon is 22 pounds.
