Indians defeat the Blue Jays 3-0 to take ALCS four games to one.
Go!
We had close friends in New York and she actually cried when The Dodgers left town——her husband was just plain pissed.
.
And look at the Cubs!
Why can’t the Red Sox get a GM like Theo Epstein?
You know, my FIL was a Cub fan since a young kid. He was born in 1922. When the Cubs were in the WS in 45, he didn’t even get to hear the games because he was still overseas. Even though he has passed away a few years ago, he still would be waiting if he were still alive. I find that amazing.
Go Tribe!
Look who comes from there: Hillary, Obama, Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers, Rahm Emanuel, Robert Creamer
You mean the Robert Creamer from Sports Confiscated (as my dad used to playfully call SI) who wrote bios of Babe Ruth and Casey Stengel?
ff
It's been an exciting season. There is something special about these Indians.
I don't know much about the Dodgers but the Tribe can face off with the Cubs. The Cubs apparently don't do well with left-handed pitching and the Tribe has Andrew Miller, an incredible lefty reliever.
The Cubs, should they advance, will need to score early to beat Cleveland. Even then, it might not be enough; there is something special about these Indians. Go Tribe!
Cubbies on the board! Lackey robbed of a hit.
How is Trump doing?

1945 !!!
1954 !!!
Andrew Miller, first non-closer reliever to win an MVP? I presume so. Sparky Lyle didn’t, did he?
Lackey pulled with no outs in the 5th. Can’t get the win. Sucks for him but I don’t know, back to back walks, lefthander coming up, might be a smart call.
1945 was the last year the Cubs appeared in the World Series. That was when Billy Sianis entered Wrigley Field during game four of the Series with his now famous goat, and was ejected. The Cubs lost that game, and the Series to Detroit. They haven't been back since.
The last time the Cubs won the Series was in 1908. They did win the pennant a number of times between 1908 and 1945 but lost the Series each time.
1954 is significant to the Indians. The Tribe appeared in the World Series in 1954, 1995, and last in 1997. They lost each time. The last time the Tribe won a Series was 1948.
Do you have a twitter? What does “don’t @ me” mean?
Also do you think if Wade Boggs had fielded that roller in game 6 of the ‘86 Series that he could have thrown out Ray Knight?
Also as a Red Sox fan, I feel the pain of the long-suffering Cubs fans...
LOL...different Creamer
step outside of the Q and watch the Indians during Cavs half time. Such a great set up in Cleveland. Wish I could be there.
Obama is from Hawaii.
Do you want me to list every piece of garbage who’s “from LA” give us a break with this nonsense.

Since your comment wasn't directed to me, I won't address those first two questions but will take a shot at the third.
The '86 series is a famous one. It was between the Red Sox and the Mets. The game six play that I recall was the Bill Buckner error. A slow grounder rolled between his legs at First and that allowed the Mets to score and win the game, and then win the series in the 7th game.
If Buckner had made the play? I'm not sure; probably the Sox would have won the series right there.
