Fellow Freepers, I need some encouragement about the 2016 Presidential Election. I've got the same sinking feeling that I had before Obama's 2 elections. I've stated before that Trump was not my 1st choice for the Republican nomination. But he won and I wholeheartedly endorse his campaign. All major media outlets (including Fox) has actively come out against him. A 12 yr old "hot mike" slang conversation is being used to destroy him. Paul Ryan and a host of other establishment Republicans are working to elect Hillary Clinton. Even after a brave and domineering debate performance the talking heads like Rove put him almost double digit down to one of the most corrupt individuals in American History. Americans seem content to pack the Supreme Court with people who don't believe in law. They are about to elect a President who set the Mideast aflame. She believes Christians only have the right to espouse their beliefs in a Church. SisterK and Stars and Stripes have faithfully that America wakes up before we leap into this precipice of moral extinction. I've said all this to say that I need encouragement. My fellow Christians say that I should not fret because God is in control. But I still worry about the pain that is about to reign down upon our beloved America. I know Donald Trump is flawed like all of us but he really believes in fighting for the neglected people in our country. Please give me some perspective on the next 20 some days ti the election. Thank all of you Freepers for the island of freedom you have carved out.
LOOK around this country there are people having their trucks, cars, boats, 18 wheelers, billboards custom painted with Trump 2016 on them!!!!! His rallies are WALL TO WALL people waiting for HOURS to see him!!! I have NEVER in my voting life seen this it is REMARKABLE, Trump WILL NOT LOSE the press has the agenda to TAKE HIM DOWN!!! Vote early and often VOTE VOTE VOTE!!! He IS going to win in a landslide!!!

This was going to be the story whoever was the GOP candidate.
The reason I didn’t support Cruz after he went Full Beck is it was unlikely he was going to be successful an ANY Blue States.
Trump has PA, IA, CO and possibly WI in play.
Cruz was going to loose all these States and probably more.
Again, this was NEVER going to be easy.

You are, and were, and always will free - there is no real island. That you were free along along and always will be and are in this moment is a statement of existential fact, not a faith. It is what it is. It's self evident. Examine the moment and you'll see it.
What happens in the 'World' is worth fighting for, but only in the sense that you express your spiritual self in it. Nobody can touch your spirit but you. It's also an existential fact that it can't be touched by anyone but you.
It's your choice how you feel that Wednesday, but you need to make that choice now - that it can't touch you - and even if it does - as I think Roarke said 'the suffering only goes so deep.' Billions of happy warriors were free and happy in societies far worse even than a Clinton administration accelerating the destruction of the country.
Your choice ... but as long as it's based on conditions ... especially political, you put the quality and very experience of your entire life in the hands of the Devil, because he's the one who runs the World of appearances. You don't beat that world. Even if Trump wins, it hasn't been beaten. You can only transcend it, or else be a ship tossed in a storm - which is how you sound now.
To transcend it, you have to detach from conditions - I don't mean detach from God, I mean conditions. Then act upon the conditions as a happy warrior, rather than having them act on you.
If you had any idea what God put inside you when you were born ... you would care and be involved in this election, but see it for the film of dust it is. Treat it like everything, but know that it's nothing. Sound and Fury, Dust, a Veil ... call it what you want. To sin means literally 'to miss the mark', and doesn't carry with it any ethical or moral baggage. In that sense, the greatest sin of all is to miss the mark by mistaking the temporal conditions for the reality.
The reality blows away anything that may or may not happen in this election by infinity.
On the level that matters, the election is totally insignificant, and totally out of your control.
Vanity, also a sin, which properly understood carries no moral baggage or judgment ... no negativity or positivity ... but is what it is, and destroys lives at a rate of a billion to one compared to elections ... is what troubles you.
So, worry not that you will wake up with President HIllary, but that you will wake up with Vanity. Even worse, that you will name it 'President Hillary,' and chain yourself to it for 8 years, thinking it's she rather than a deluded belief in a costume of a world that's bringing you down, rather than an insistence that an Illusion is Substance, and therefore holds sway over you.

Do a YouTube search for "Donald Trump prophecy". You must judge prophecy, but some of these encouraged me. The Bible says we should take heed to prophecy and by it "wage a good warfare", which is what we must do through faith and prayer. Here's a prophecy I've been standing on for years. Also, we are to "despise not prophesying". Surely the Lord God will do nothing, except He reveal it to his servants the prophets.

Support Trump or be honest about supporting Clinton. There is no gray area.
Do what you can to win. There were 14 million Trump primary voters. Find 4 non-primary voters, and convince them to vote. If all we did that, landslide.
