Anybody else have the jitters, a nervous twitch, strange feeling about tonight-s debate? The only time I can remember feeling like this over a TV event was when Geraldo Rivera was going to open Al Capone's vault.
Personally, I think it's going to end up like a normal debate, Hillary will be jacked up on meds and perform normally, and that is my greatest fear, because then the MSM will dominate the air waves on how great she was.
Still, I almost cannot bear to watch, but will ...
Ohhh, I have a crush in Kinsey ...
Rotflol!
I won’t be watching but I’m fortunate, I don’t have to watch in order to know how it’s going.
I can tell how it’s going just by listening to the phrases, sounds, and volume of said indicators, coming from my husband even though he’ll be two rooms away and the door to the room he’s watching from will be closed.
Like you I notice obvious goofs and, being a longtime resident here, I often click on otherwise uninteresting threads just to see how many posts it will be until someone tweaks the goof's mistake. Seldom if ever, though, has it occurred on the first reply. You are the champion!
Bears losing.
Bear, Bare, Bayer, Baier, Bair, Baer, Baire
What difference, at this point, does it make?
I find it interesting that this big deal is made of Mark Cuban. Trump is a businessman who goes up against the toughest of business people. I don’t see how Cuban can bother Trump unless they allow him to be obnoxious and make funny faces. Trump just needs to ask Hillary to control her dog during the debate.
Trump is going to do great. Meanwhile, Hillary is STILL doing a prep session last minute this morning. Might be related with controlling any “health” incident during the debate. She reminds me of someone at work, who has to do a big presentation and keeps the prep going up until just hours prior - then they do badly. So scripted that it goes over as scripted and then the person sort of freezes anyway trying to remember exact scripted lines.
She is really in a semi-panic already and it doesn’t matter if she performs her “walk to the podium” 100 times over she is now over scripted and it is going to show during the debate. This has been my experience observing the corporate world, it’s a bad sign and something always goes wrong for this type of personality which she is exhibiting. At best, it goes over “just average” but often it is a disaster. And don’t be surprised if she sort of starts saying some scripted lines that have zero to do with the subject or question, this will trigger a repeat of the question and she will become defensive and even ruffled and I think the odds of something like that are higher than Trump - and her form of defensive “offensive” is much more annoying than when Trump does it. Trump is going to win.
I believe Trump will look good despite the concerted effort to gang up on him and that the best Hillary can hope for is that the MSM propaganda erases folks memories of what she actually looked and sounded like.
But is it strong enough to hold her?
That will be the Media slant no matter what happens tonight. They'll still continue with their 24/7/365 Trump bashing.
They're maxed out.
So why let it bother you?
Vote Trump!
Radio device could be in her earrings.
Hollywood, don’t you know.
Thank you. It really was irresistible. And we’re all fine, thanks, and hope you are the same.
If I can bare to watch, will it make me look cheap?
Get some booze and play the drinking game. You won’t care about it anymore.
No, honestly I expect a relatively boring 90 minutes. Hillary and the moderator may try to get under Trump’s skin to get him to go off script or snap... but I don’t think anything overly exciting is going to happen.
Might be a few zingers, but I really don’t think tonight’s debate is going to be must see TV when its all over with.
For crying out loud we are looking at a debate where expectations are so low, little chance anything is going to get crazy. Hillary just manages to stand upright for 90 minutes and the press will declare her the winner... and Trump needs only to look reasonable to actually win.
Trump is in the driver’s seat and knows it... Hillary is unlikely to go too crazy on any attacks as well... so I honestly don’t expect anything earth shattering... both sides supporters will claim their person won at the end... and the headlines will almost certainly blare Hillary won no matter what happens tomorrow, and unless Trump implodes and winds up looking unreasonable, he continues on his path to a major landslide.

They TRIED the same thing with every debate that Trump was in, but TRUMP controlled the narrative. He'll do it this time too.
