Disturbing photos have emerged of a man who appears to be dragging a little girl by her hair in Walmart.
Erika Burch, was shopping when she spotted the man, who she says, had the child's hair 'wrapped around the buggy' as he dragged her down the aisles.
Burch said the child was pleading for the man to stop.

This isn’t mere “discipline” it’s abuse plain and simple. Morons like this guy who can’t tell the difference should be locked up.
Once we went to McDonalds and I told the kids they could each get 3 items from the dollar menu as I was tight on money.
So, my daughter proceeds to order some sort of chicken sandwich meal for about $7. She had the gall to say “It’s OK Dad” when I began to protest.
She got her sandwich but also got a large piece of my mind when we got back in the car. It was also quite a while before I took her out to eat again.
Dragging? That’s not dragging.
A corrective smack on the ass versus prolonged, sadistic pain.
One is acceptable, the other, barbaric.
Amazed that some are unable to see the difference.
[FWIW, pull my hair like that, and I’ll cut you]
Defend his behavior? Seriously?! Did you and do you still do these things with your kids or teach them to do so with your grand kids? You need help.
Something weird about those pictures.... man has the most out of proportion small legs I’ve ever seen.
“Then I doubt he would be parading her around like that without any concern for getting apprehended. That is likely a nonsense suggestion.”

I think you’d be surprised at what bad guys do in public without fear of being caught.

She would have fit in the basket part. I would have just put her in there with food around her. There are not always other trustworthy people to watch kids. He may not have had much choice as far as having to take her with him.
He is not dragging her. Stupid idea, though.
Making accusations against me now? That is just about right for the modern day "witch hunt" which some people are always interested in starting against people with whom they disagree.
I think the people who need to go to jail are the false accusers.
Nope that’s not ‘dragging.’ Not at all what I pictured when I read the headline. I wouldn’t discipline a child like that but ‘dragged around the store’ is an overwrought description.
My Dad was even worse. Step out of line, get smacked.
“Do I have your attention NOW?”
In all fairness, we DID get what we deserved and I can still remember the TWO times that I deserved it, which was pretty darn good, all things considered.
But, I’m getting my revenge. I’m picking out his CHEAP Nursing Home with Nurse Ratchet at the helm. And he KNOWS this, LOL!
God save us from people who do not know what real abuse looks like.
A lot of people out there must have lived very sheltered lives. The man is clearly wrong headed and he should be warned to discipline his child some other way, but pushing the Nazi State on him for this is far worse than what he is doing.
I expect we will find out shortly whether that is the father or not. The fact that the little girl was not screaming for help makes it all the more likely that it was.
Nice. Make sure to ask about the childhood revenge package.
That’s not discipline, that’s abuse.
I’m sorry but tying a girl’s hair to the handle of a cart and dragging her around is most certainly abuse. And yeah, she is being “dragged around” despite what word games some may want to play on this thread. Plain and simple.
Calling a righteous reaction to it (advocating throwing the jerk in jail), calling that “pushing the Nazi State on him” is asinine.
He looks like the typical East Texas Knuckledragger that we have around here.
Mental category 4 redneck.

He made himself famous, not the “Nazi State”.
LOL! I will! :)
My first observation upon looking at the pictures was to note just how short the girl's hair was. I immediately thought to myself "just how difficult would it be to tie this little girl's hair to the handle of that basket?"
It seemed to me that it would be exceedingly difficult, and so I surmised that the man simply placed the little girl's hair on the basket handle and put his hand over it so he could hold it there. I also surmised that the busy body who was making the shrill accusations was the one that introduced the idea that her hair was "tied" to the basket handle.

No it isn't, because i've seen the Child Protective services Nazia abuse and hurt other innocent people. As a matter of fact, I have such a low opinion of these state bureaucrats that I will automatically dismiss any accusations made by these people unless they present proof. Their word is worthless in my opinion. They are routinely shrill and hysterical liars in their accusations. I have seen many cases that confirm this.
I do not wish to reveal how I know what scum inhabit departments such as "child protective services", but I can assure you I have had much information about them from professional contacts I have had.
They are bunglers who have no concern for other people's rights, and no real concern for the children taken into their custody.
