Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. TMZ reports that the actress filed papers on Monday citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and asking for physical custody of the couple's six children. The pair began dating in 2004 and were married in August 2014.

Also, women get a lot of praise for being thin, thinner, thinnest. We could be looking at Angelina Jolie and thinking she looks unwell, but the Daily Mail is saying “incredible figure” and “slender pins.”
I don’t know how true it is, but I remember reading a few years back that Pitt isn’t big on bathing and he REEKS. You’re right—he does look like that’s true.
As for her, she looks like her dad and family should do an intervention before she starves herself to death. I don’t mean that unkindly, either.
She isn’t close to her father at all. She blames him for her parents divorce and him saying she had mental problems. He was not invited to her wedding to Pitt. It is to bad. She is a unforgiving person.
When she directed ‘Unbroken’, she also brought producers meaning investment. That was a very patriotic movie, very pro-America.
It was released late 2014 and she caught hell for it.
Now she’s divorcing Pitt.
I’d say she’s growing in wisdom; Prodigal Daughter, etc.
Countless young people coming and continuing into adulthood hate their Dads or Moms for ruining their Cleaver world. With 50% divorce rates I can’t say I blame them. But many young liberal kids eventually realize existence is not nor can ever be Utopia. Wisdom sets in and conservatism emerges.
As the age old FR saying goes “If you’re not liberal when you’re young, you have no heart. If you’re not conservative when more mature, you have no brain.”
She said she loved her father in December 2014. I’d say she’s her father’s daughter and she’s following his path to more conservative thinking. As others have pointed out here, he also was liberal when he was younger.
I’m surprised they were together this long.
Some say Pitt had an affair with Marion Cotillard. I’m presuming they had an open marriage, so I don’t know.
Others say he’s a severe pothead and that had something to do with it, that he was doped up in front of the kids.
Well truth be told, her and her father haven’t spoken in quite some time. He’s quoted as saying “it must have been something bad for this to happen” regarding this split.
Doesn’t sound like a father who has spoken to his daughter in quite some time.
One movie doesn’t make a conservative, not sure how you believe it does, or did.

You might consider sitting back and contemplating the bigger picture.
Because you’re posting on a premier conservative forum that goes back decades and has an illustrious history at affecting so much of America’s politics (and that is not at all hyperbole e.g. forcing compliance with transparency of FL hand counting of votes in Gore-Bush 2000, and so many more), then I will assume you are conservative-minded and want to see conservative values not only continue but thrive for current and future generations.
You will then accept without hesitation that Hollywood is an enemy to America on many levels.
Jolie is a big part of Hollywood.
When she directed and brought funding to ‘Unbroken’, it was a big step out of her Hollywood mold and cinematic niche. The whole project was, perhaps unintentionally a throwback to a time when Hollywood catered to the patriotism of Americans, when movies were made that were expected to be Pro-America. Jolie directing that film was as disjoint an image of where she belonged as would be Woody Allen making a film faithful to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
But making a Pro-America politically incorrect film was not the only important part of what she did. Hollywood members would have cheered and smirked for weeks if Jolie’s film had failed at the box office. But how did her film perform at the box office?
Production budget: $65,000,000
Domestic box office: $115,637,895
Worldwide totals: $163,442,937
Jolie more than doubled the investor’s money. The film was a smashing success.
So we can bet liberals were extremely unhappy with that result.
What it showed investors is that the sleaze in Hollywood cannot perform but conservative films are a great investment.
So now take it in for a moment. How important is it to Americans, to American children and to future generations of Americans to have a film industry that plays up the values that made America so great?
I personally don’t think Jolie knew what she was getting herself into. I know the film is based on a true story and that the main protagonist was still alive when Jolie was approached to take over the project, and that she met the hero himself before he died and they really hit it off. So I tend to think it was Jolie’s feminine side that promised him to make this film of his life.
And who knows? The rumors are that those that were seeking a big Hollywood name to pick the project up knew that Jolie’s father Jon Voight had become quite conservative and, that this being a conservative story, had the people who wrote the script and who had tried but failed to get investment, had approached Voight who influenced his daughter to take it as her director debut.
Whether Jolie and her father were on the outs or not, she said in December 2014 on camera that she loved him very much. As for him not being invited to the wedding, that was likely Pitt’s people whispering that none of the Hollywood players would bother to show if ‘conservative’ Voight was there.
Keep in mind that the Hollywood press is as untruthful as the MSM is. Jolie was a big star and the Hollywood press just could not stand the fact that her actor father had become a conservative. Without damaging her star reputation, they likely exaggerated the estrangement between her and her father. Hollywood tabloids lie, lie, lie and believe their own lies.
So we can never be sure of anything the Hollywood tabloid trash throws at us. But one thing is certain, Angelina Jolie made a very successful Pro-America film in Hollywood and made a lot of money for the film’s investors. There’s no denying that.
You are attached to one movie she made as evidence of all that is great and holy within her. I don’t see it that way but I respect your long thought out post.
Trust me, I am well aware of what this board represents and additionally, I am very aware of what the crap in hollywood pours out and the effects it has on our culture. Anyone with children should be on top of that.
Maybe when Angi stops trying to meld the entire world into her one world view, I’ll stop and take note of what she has to share.

You would be wrong there. I haven’t thought of Jolie since December 2014 when the film was making its debut. As I read the reaction of the press, I thought “how weird” that Hollywood was making a conservative film directed by a woman with a tabloid liberal image.
So I read more and was intrigued.
And since then, I haven’t paid not one iota of attention to Jolie or any of her entourage including her father. She does not register in my conscience except when I saw this thread that she was divorcing Pitt.
And it wasn’t just one film, it is the only film that I know of that she has directed.
To make a profit in Hollywood these days is very difficult. Most of the industry is struggling, failing, falling on its face.
And here comes a tabloid liberal woman directing her first film that goes on to be a smashing success, and shockingly the film is conservative in an industry that kisses Obama and Clinton’s ass several times a day each day.
I find that quite remarkable. In fact, it’s damn near unbelievable.
What does AJ expect? She stole the pothead from Jennifer Aniston, who is kicking herself in the ass for getting remarried, because she’s still “in love” with Brad “Smelly” Pitts.
And he 100% looks like a middle age pothead. Get ready to write a big check, hop head.
