Full article to huffpo is here http:(slash-slash)www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-chimpanzee-behavior_us_57ddb84fe4b04a1497b4e512?
In said article, Jane compares Trumps "performances" to chimps who rise through the animal hierarchy by dominance displays "stamping, slapping the ground, dragging branches, throwing rocks. Here's a quote from the article:
"Goodall added, the more vigorous and imaginative the display, the faster the individual is likely to rise in the hierarchy, and the longer he is likely to maintain that position.
Huffpo's insinuation appears to be that Trump is leading and winning right now because Americans are chimps and they respond to dominant chimp displays. Goodall studied chimps because the public couldn't possibly understand chimp behavior without studying it closely but Huffpo is hard on the campaign trail, implying that Trump is rising because we respond to chimp behavior. Nice.
It would seem that it’s now politically correct to compare certain people to apes?
Can we do that? I can think of a few that would make a very good comparison.
Yes it is only she takes it a couple of steps further.
Ol’ Jane plays Drop the Banana with the chimps.
Applying Dame Goodall's methodology to Mr. Obama, something I wouldn't have considered even remotely appropriate prior to Dame Goodall's decision to extend her behavior analysis to Mr. Trump, it seems that Mr. Obama shows more submissive traits than dominant traits. Some of his public gestures in meetings with other world leaders are similar to those used by submissive apes:
"A submissive chimpanzee lets the aggressor know that he or she is not a threat through non-threatening postures such as presenting their back, crouching and bowing in front of the threatening chimpanzee, or bobbing."
Personally, I think that Dame Goodall's decision to use her expertise and renown as a scholar to justify applying characteristics of chimpanzee behavior to human beings in a particular, individualized sense shows a very unpleasant side of her thinking, and that of those who published her thoughts. Unfortunately, it has the effect of validating statements historically made that used comparisons between non-human primate behavior and human beings, and the organizations and individuals that made them. But, given her expertise and stature in the research community apparently that kind of analysis is now acceptable.
I wouldn’t jump on Jane Goodall too fast here.
Many social things that people do can be seen as analogous to animal behaviors, only covered up with a lot of words and complicated customs.
For example, remember when Al Gore, dressed in earth tones on the advice of his “how to be an alpha male” consultant, strutted into the sitting GWB’s space near the end of a debate? GWB handled it very well, looking at him in an amused way as if to say, “What are you doing here? Are you lost?”
But, the idea was to show dominance. Chimpanzees indeed.
So what she is saying that those black Americans supporting Trump are monkeys?
The difference between man and apes is that early man recognized the use of foundations for scamming great wealth.
So Goodall is saying that he is completely natural, which then implies that Clinton is unnatural, which, of course, we know to be true.
And Hillary’s behavior reminds me of the old Chimp who gets left behind to be eaten by Hyenas.
We’re tired of the left flinging crap at us for years.
About time we started flinging back.
Considering her life’s work, isn’t that a compliment?
Okay, so that makes 2 Republicans called “chimp” ... GW Bush and now Trump. I dare them to say that about Obama.
Aren't you curious about Goodall's characterization of other candidates and elected political leaders?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the core of Goodall’s entire life’s work is that ALL chimps behave similar to ALL humans ?
I mean... If we are to take her political statement here (And remember.. I may be similar to a primate but she was so Primate that she was ACCEPTED INTO THEIR GROUP) that means Trump is the only human that she sees.
And also the Huff has been ending EVERY article with that thing about Trump. That’s libel.
We need to get Jane to observe Hillary pitching ash trays, Bibles, and lamps, as well as the social interaction with Secret Service Agents. Or, the “flinging of feces” at competitive females seen around her so-called life partner, Bill. Perhaps Jane would have some items of interest to report.
I have always suspected she does.
...the mule Huma is using to carry her into the Sec of State position captured in WIkileaks!

Excellent description!
I’m sick of liberal elite assh*les and their bullsh*t... We are no more like chimps than we’re untouchables... or deploravbles...
And we’re tired of these ‘elites’ and their name calling... if they don’t like our positions on issues they can debate us but we’re SICK OF THE DAMN NAME CALLING.
When your tool is a hammer. everything looks like a nail. When you’re a primate expert, everything looks like an ape.
