I removed all of the Hillary states and many battlegrounds. This is Yuge!
That’s not even counting Michigan or Pennsylvania. I think Trump won Michigan the other day with his “making cars in Mexico and can’t drink the water in Flint” speech.
VA not required
He constantly downs Trump.
Nope, not if he gets CO, and apparently he's killing it in CO, and NV which I'm already very confident he wins our state. He's well loved here, even in Vegas. If he gets CO I don't see any way he can lose NV.
“...I don’t believe hiLIARy will win NY...”
Agreed. There are only Trump signs up around the Capital District region where we live and many are up throughout the surrounding suburbs and in the rural counties - when I drive through central NY through Schoharie County and Otsego County to visit our daughter and her family, out 88 or Route 20 there are many Trump signs and I have seen not a single Hillary sign. At all.
New York State will go for Trump unless the NYC demographics win out as usual - however this time Trump will win in Staten Island, Queens, Suffolk, Nassau, Westchester and this might very well override the usual unfair-to-conservatives demographic in the same way that Reagan did.
Our three year old granddaughter, after spotting Hillary in a news clip when I was on babysitting duty two days ago said completely spontaneously, (no prompting whatsoever, in fact she saw Hillary in the clip before I did) said “We don’t like her”. Three years old! I think this influence came from in laws who have been in the area for generations; I thought this was good sign.
Nevada, New Hampshire, Colorado, Virginia. That’s where he needs to be. Pennsylvania would be great if he can overcome corruption in Philadelphia!
The two biggest bellwether counties are in Nevada Trump + 17 and Pennsylvania Trump + 15 so that’s 26 more so that’s 249 + 26 = 273 BINGO!
If you removed Hillary, and Trump only wins 274? I would think he would have won all of the states in that case.
I am not sure what you are intending?
It'd be great if he could flip it, but it'll be long over before that happens
249 + 26 = 275 at least that’s what I learned in a WV elementary school....but still a BINGO!
So many people here do. If he’s so stupid, how did he get where he is today? I wish I was that stupid.
IMO Trump should use NY and PA as “tar babies”.
Force the Dems to spend inordinate amounts of time and money in an effort to retain them.
I’m in Indiana he up by 11
Indiana and Idaho aren’t locks?? Lol
This could be shaping up like the Republican primaries.
Early on, according to the pundits/commentators/experts there was NO path for Trump. Then, he swept the south, except for a partial win in Texas.
By mid-season, he was nearing 900 delegates but still no path.
Indiana was supposed to be the firewall. Trump won it massively.
Going into the convention, there was only a slight path, assuming the delegates did not revolt and decide to switch their votes. Trump had around 1300 delegates, with 1237 needed.
When the first ballot was over, Trump had 1725 and his nearest competitor 484.
Election night in November will either be as tight as 2000 or a landslide like 1980.
Two questions:
1. At what time will Rove, with his handy whiteboard, run down the hall to the control room to confront them and accuse them of miscounts?
2. At what time will Megyn Kelly run down the hall to the control room to confront them and accuse them of miscounts?
Kellyanne Conway has the Donald on a new path. No more screaming and making fun of people. If he stays with it, he wins easily.
The frustrating thing about the polls is that we don’t know how much of Hillary’s drop was real. How much was the press overstating the case for Hillary in the past and now moderating their polls closer to reality?
And to the extent that the change is real, there is a sad realization that the change is probably driven more by a realization that Hillary is physically unfit to do the job, rather than that our citizenry has carefully examined the issues and are voting for Trump because he is best for the nation.
I was having fun last night, and produced a very similar map. I had all Clinton leaning states too close to call (except D.C.) and Trump winning enough states to win before polls close in California as in 1980.
Just to show Trump and I was wrong about NM and NV
