By the time Amber Swink was strapped into a restraint chair in an isolation cell, she had already been pepper-sprayed once.
Barely able to open her eyes as she struggled inside a seven-point harness at the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio, Swink could hear deputies laughing.
Moments later, for reasons the 25-year-old said she still doesnt understand, Sgt. Judith L. Sealey approached the chair and fired a burst of pepper spray into Swinks face at point-blank range.
Swink had been arrested during a night of heavy drinking at her home that evening. Swink admits that she was still somewhat intoxicated at the time but recalled that the pain was nearly unbearable as her face was coated with oleoresin capsicum.

She can certainly make a Federal Torture case out of this.
The penalties under Federal Law are severe.
I didn't even look at the races.

No matter what the race - Federal charges seem appropriate.

It’s on video. The bastards should be publicly hanged and the video plastered on Youtube.
ANY proven abuse or corruption by law enforcement must receive the highest possible punishment! After every single penny of their assets are seized.

A white woman in seven point restraints hit with a ton of spray for NO REASON. The video is almost too shocking to believe!
WLM!!!! :) I’ll start the movement. I’ll move from the couch to the chair.
Seriously, this is torture and a horrific video regardless of who’s what color.

Getting drunk at home isn’t a crime, but the story doesn’t say how she came to be arrested.

"but the story doesnt say how she came to be arrested"
While I'm sure it's an interesting and colorful story, I don't think it matters in this case.

Could just be “protective custody” which isn't an official charge. Someone may have thought she was “too drunk” and when the cops did a “welfare check” she may have acted in a manner in which LEO thought they were a “danger” to themselves. And yes, they can remove someone from their home if this is what the LEO believes. I know, it happened to me about 20 years ago.

Judith Sealey, the cop with the pepper spray is black, the restrained woman white.
