I hope they cover the chip enabled credit card machines. The whole swipe your own card thing happened when I was stationed overseas. I used to get the strangest looks when I got back and didn’t know how to use them.
This bit of “humor” completely leverages off of the concept that there is an “Us” and a “Them” and the political elitists are privileged, pampered people who simple do not understand anything about the lives of the rubes in flyover country.
I think this works better as sad sociological commentary than it does as humor.

What she will miss most is having 35 assistants wait on her hand and foot and taking 6 two-week vacations a year on the taxpayers’ dime.

Everything else aside, Ellen was really funny in that, and Michelle was playing the role of responsible mom/citizen and discouraging Ellen’s vandalism and pilfering. It was pretty funny. You’d think they were two normal women.
