I never cared for that recording. I don’t care much for novelty-type songs, but she sure hit the sweet spot with that one. I remember hearing it on the radio constantly back then.

Had a feeling we’d be seeing Ms. J C Riley after seeing Tanya Tucker. The two were of similar voices and song selection at that time. Now to look for Bobbie Gentry to make the trio complete
