I figured it probably came from Trump but through the proper channels but haven't' found any indications of that being the case.

Kardashian’s charity did receive $20,000. But it wasn’t from Trump. Instead, the check came from a TV production company, the same one that paid out the show’s official prizes.......That is terrible!! Not giving out taxpayer’s money??? He should be hung.
It was a TV show. I would never expect that when the host of a TV show says, in the context of the show, “I” am donating something, that it means it comes from his own pocket. It comes from the budget of the show.
Who didn’t know this was all part of the production of the show? If you use the same accounting techniques as the progressives, it was his money. I can’t believe how stupid this country has become.

Who owned the production company? Did Trump have a stake in it? Did the contract specify any prize money came out of Trump’s payment/profits?
