The time had come to fire Khloé Kardashian. But first, Donald Trump had a question.
“What’s your charity?” Trump asked.
They were filming “The Celebrity Apprentice,” the reality-TV show where Trump schooled the faded and the semi-famous in the arts of advertising, salesmanship and workplace infighting. Most weeks, one winner got prize money for charity. One loser got fired.

“I’m going to give $20,000 to your charity,” Trump said, according to a transcript of that show.
He didn’t.
After the show aired in 2009, Kardashian’s charity did receive $20,000. But it wasn’t from Trump. Instead, the check came from a TV production company, the same one that paid out the show’s official prizes.

I figured it probably came from Trump but through the proper channels but haven't' found any indications of that being the case.

I would be willing to bet that Trump would have violated his contract with the production company if he had personally paid out the funds from his own account.
Gee, and Do you suppose Ben Stein didn’t personally pay out on “Win Ben Stein’s Money?” And when Monte Hall offered $100 to someone in a zany costume that he didn’t really offer his own money? TV is business. There are tax and legal reasons why it is the way it is. Sheeeesh

It was a TV show. I would never expect that when the host of a TV show says, in the context of the show, “I” am donating something, that it means it comes from his own pocket. It comes from the budget of the show.
Who didn’t know this was all part of the production of the show? If you use the same accounting techniques as the progressives, it was his money. I can’t believe how stupid this country has become.

If he tells the production company to pay the money, and they pay the money, it still comes out of the overhead for the show, which is his show.

Who owned the production company? Did Trump have a stake in it? Did the contract specify any prize money came out of Trump’s payment/profits?
Did Kardashian read the contract? Can she read?
Big nothing which tells me they are draining the bottom of the barrel to try and find something to stop Trump.
Did they come from the Chinese government? If not I couldn’t care less.
