Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X is the 33rd season of Survivor (for those unfamiliar with the show, there are two seasons each year). It begins Wednesday, September 21, 2016 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
The players range in age from 18 to 52. There are seven from California, including six from Southern California, two each from Florida and New York, and one each from Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
Given that the youngest Gen-Xer is 33 and the oldest Millennial is 31, it's possible that the theme might have been created after the cast was assembled. This has been suspected of some past Survivor seasons.

Just finished catching up to the last episode of the Australian version.. Only 2 there that I like.. and my favorite was voted out :/ (Kate)
Only one left I like is Sammy.. Lee is ok, but I was hoping Kate would have made it further.. Her parents were told, at one time, that IF she came out of coma, she would be a veggie for the rest of her life. SHe came back and became a heck of a strong (and great) person.

Well, that was an interesting episode.
Never tell someone in the alliance you are targeting that you are targeting one of them.
Thought that was in Survivor 101 along with shelter building and fire making.

I am a Gen Xer. For the most part my peers are pissed off. Pissed off at the boomers for sucking the air out of the room. Pissed off at our kids, who just will not leave the house.
And pissed off because we are stuck in the middle of the Silent Generation and the Millennials. The Silents are the most ineffective generation ever—who continue to live on well into their eighties, expecting us to care for their every whim.
Are we bitter?

Lee and El are dating now. He is hot..and a tough competitor.
They had to hang onto a vertical pole. He was the last man standing and he is a big guy. It was a challenge suited for a small female with small feet.
Two females were left. After 6 hours the host had enough and bribed one of the girls to let go.
Both of those girls are strong physical competitors.
It has been fun to watch. You will find yourself expecting Jeff phrases like...”I got nothin’ for you” when the team loses but Jonathan tries to not use it.
You also see stuff that you don’t see on US version. A hot bath went for 20 bucks in the auction. An advantage in the game went for 80 bucks. In the US no way would it go that cheap.
These milennials are laughable. And Dave please put your shirt on, you look like a living stick figure. Also wish they would ban underwear for the guys, what’s wrong with swim trunks. Don’t care to see their junk. They missed an opportunity to vote out Figgy and I think they will pay for it.
Had to watch the episode online this morning as we were binging on the entire Longmire 5th season on Netflix. “It is another beautiful day at the Red Pony Saloon and continual soiree.” Great show though now we’ll have to wait a whole year to see how/if Henry is saved. Maybe a red tailed hawk pecks the ties loose!
Lots of funny quips from this Survivor episode:

David’s right, “no girl wants to date a neurotic bald guy” especially if there’s an Adonis in front of you.
“Inside my television... empathy and emotion vs. 2D video games” and tv is not reality.” Welcome to reality Millennials. You got your first taste of TC and good bye Mari.
Hannah should have been the one voted out. She proved that by freezing up at the vote. She’s not to be trusted and will vote with whatever name she hears last.

Little disappointed in the three old chicks flipping so fast. Would have been better voting out Ce Ce and then pulling in Dave and Ken to go for the kill.
Adam pretty much laid out who the power four were but the other three just can’t see it. Oh well, last time I took math a tight four outnumbers three.
