I need your help if you have an Android phone
Posted on 08/16/2016 5:25:25 PM PDT by Red in Blue PA
I just downloaded about 10 updates on my Android. Every one downloaded fine, with the exception of the NRA-ILA app. I tried several times but only got an error message. And when I clicked on the error message, it gave me a message about "sorry about not being able to download Pokémon Go"
Just seems fishy.

I would avoid android “market”, which is full of crapware and phising. Apple’s app store is far more credible, although it will cost a bit more to own an iPhone, but it i worth it compare to android crap. Don’t even get me started on windoze “phones” and their “store”. Those crapware publishers should be put in prison for that scam.

Sounds like a malicious app for NRA people.
Remove it and go to the NRA website and try to download it from there.
If it doesn’t delete from the app screen then download an app manager that let’s you delete it. (then delete that app manager.)

I already had the app on the phone; I was merely updating it.

My next phone will have a removeable battery. They can trace your phone, as long as it has power.

Uninstall the app. Restart your device and reinstall from the playstore. Hope it helps.

Removable batteries are hard to find in new smarphones. The LG G4 has one, not sure about the G5.

Any phone can be opened with the right tools. Of course, that might be a hammer and chisel - sometimes a playing card
