Cagney could do it all. He sang, danced, and he was a great actor.

Sam Kinison and Rodney Dangerfield. Both did good stand-up and both were great in Back to School.

I like Mike Myers, but he's a totally different generation. When Wayne's World came out a bunch of us rented the private viewing room here in Charlevoix to watch it. The private room cost 10 dollars above the ticket prices and it got us a private viewing room with three short tiers and tree couches, a table to mix or store or drinks on , a air conditioner, and a window that opened up to the theater audience below. We took some beers up there and started to watch the movie which was mostly being viewed by kids who didn't get one joke or cultural reference.

Excellent topic. Very, very good comments. Thanks.

Red Skelton. Saw him live in 1984. One and a half hours of pure joy.
Conan. His Youtube videos crack me every day.

Writers in Hollywood always said there was one guy to write for: Sid Caesar.

“it’s James Cagney in “One, Two, Three”.”

Won’t disagree with that at all!

Thanks for the pictures of Red. He was quite the comedian. And a gentleman.

Miss him.

Have you read his Pledge of Allegiance? My favorite part:

Bolding is mine.

In serious moments, Gleason could be humble and self-deprecating.

Aahhht Caahhhhney! Boy, they were good!

We'll never see the likes of them again...
