An electoral college map released Thursday from the University of Virginia Center for Politics projected Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton winning the November election by a landslide.
UVA altered its map to reflect recent changes in the likely political leanings of certain states, but Clinton still easily came out on top.
Larry Sabato, director of the UVA Center for Politics, explained what made the map different from most polls that reflect the more fickle tendencies of the electorate. The UVA electoral map focused on "the electoral fundamentals and fixed elements of politics that predetermine most votes, especially partisanship, demographics, and strong forces shaping the political landscape."
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saw a brief bump in the polls after the party's convention in July, but that lead later slipped as Clinton regained ground after the Democrats' convention the following week

His polls just like PPP are way pro Dem until the last one in November usually .
The polls meant to sway people opinions and depress the Gop are Sept and Oct push polls .
PPP and all the other left wing push poll cabal will try to get last one right in Nov close but 2014 .
Back in 2006 Larry Sabato was outed here on FR as a Dem Hack.

look, if NY thought of Hitlery as a carpet bagger she wouldn’t have been picked twice as a Sinator.
I would love to see Trump make NY competitive, but I don’t see evidence that he is doing so.
Yes, the polls are generally accurate taken as a group as a snapshot in time. Clinton got a convention bounce, Trump had a bad week in the media. However there are 3 months to campaign and if Trump can win recalcitrant Republicans he can win a close election.
And the map has been around since March when she might have won legitimately. Sabato has left plenty of room to be wrong, though, so I don’t think it is going to be much of a stretch when Trump is up for good in the polls.
I do not believe that Sabato is a pollster, but rather aggregates and analyzes the data from various polls.
Without question he is a Democrat, but that does not mean his findings are unsound.
As for the data he is using now, it only projects who would win the election if it were held today and has little to do with what will happen in November.
I have a feeling certain world events will happen in the next few months that will vindicate Trump.
Part of this ‘hillary is on track for a blowout win’ is a way for the media, who knows she is doomed, to stroke hillary’s ego...(think Nora Desmond in sunset boulevard ) Also, they want to stay in good standing with the clinton machine which they know is not going a way for a long time.
I do declare honey, I’m gettin’ the vapors over all this..........;)
If Hillary at 25% and Trump at 75% is the blowout in her favor that they’re talking about, I agree.
Trump is going to stomp this woman at the polls.
Bump for reference on Nov. 9th.

She’s deteriorating so fast mentally and physically, I don’t know what she’s going to do about the debates.
At least the NFL scheduling is very convenient for her.
Maybe America is just doomed to be controlled by the left. They control most of the media and education and not many people attend church any more. Where are people going to learn about conservatism?
Praying. Consistently.
I’m afraid this country is going to have to stare straight into the abyss before things turn around.
“Man looks in the abyss, there’s nothing staring back at him. At that moment, man finds his character. And that is what keeps him out of the abyss.”
Talk of a Hillary landslide are just as premature as talk of a Trump landslide are.
It’s the middle of the first quarter and Hillary is up 7-0. But there’s still a long way to go. This election can turn on a dime.
There you go Sabato being dumber than dumb. His usual state.
She wasn't running against Trump back then. Different game this time.
Granted.
I would venture the vast majority who watch NFL football are already Trump fans.
