After Tawny Nelson's car broke down at night in the pouring rain with her four young daughters crying in the back, countless people just drove by as she begged for help.
*snip*
At that moment, a 74-year-old man with a bad limp knocked on the window. He handed her a plate of food and bottles of water for her family and let her know that a tow truck was on its way and that his wife was going to drive them home. The next day, the gentleman returned to her house with a mechanic and they made multiple repairs to her car.
After the kind stranger left, Tawny asked the mechanic if she could set up a payment plan, but he informed her that the man had already taken care of the bill.

Can’t open page past the stupid sign up to facebook crap. Would like to have read the story and seen the family!
Very well put
I guess this was in a grocery parking lot.
None of the shopper clowns had jumper cables?
Where the heck was this?
Were the female shoppers all Hillary Sisterhood types?
NONE of them could help out?
was it Joe Biden?
I was on my way to work at my new/old job when I came to a stop sign my car just died. Right there. Had my cell phone out ready to call road side assistance when a fireman, pulled up beside me, I think an inspector, and asked if I was ok. I explained my situation and that help was coming. He called over a guy who was jogging by to help push me around the corner and out of the intersection. They were there, helped me, and then they were gone. Never had a chance to ask their names. Who says there aren’t Angels.
How do u know her story?
And thank you for the post...indeed time for it
I accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior in 1979. Since then, I have given lots of help to strangers, been in several conflicts and some civil scrapes, have never had a need greater than either resources at hand or abilities to overcome- My Lord makes my cup runeth over. I certainly do not deserve it, but He loves me so!
Not too smart, though. Four young kids and never married to their dad.
I had no problem opening my post's link, and a Facebook request did not appear. I'm running Adblocker Plus (it's free). Maybe that made the difference.
Battery may have been going bad, too. I’ve had batteries that would start the car if you didn’t have to crank more than 5 seconds. Forget it after that.
The story gave part of it. It said “her partner” left her and the girls. Not her husband. Not the girls’ daddy.
Yes, thank you for posting.
There is not proof that this story is true or that this person even exists. Not even a General location is mentioned.
I don’t know 2 hours and no one would even offer her a jump? I certainly am glad she found help but I am just finding that one a bit hard to swallow. Walk inside the store and explain situation and I am sure they would have found help.
Maybe things are different where she lives but I’ve never seen large numbers turn down a request for a jump.
I think if you find a place on the form to click, it goes away. Just don't click on the data entry boxes for your name, etc. Click on the side.
I was leaving a restaurant where I had attended a manager’s meeting, me being the only conservative with a bunch of liberals. There was a young woman sitting outside that I took pity on and gave her a few bucks. I know she might have just spent it on drugs but I just wanted to give her a few bucks so I did. My liberal coworkers told me that was like feeding wildlife, and that if people like me didn’t help others then they would have no choice other than enlisting in government programs which is what they need to do. Go figure!
I was waiting at an intersection for a light to change when a black teenage boy stepped out of the shadows. He was trying to get my attention. I rolled down my window and he asked if I knew how to get to a place on the outskirts of Houston. He said he had gone off with a friend but they had gotten separated and he didn't know how to get home.
I told him to put his bike in the back of the truck and get in there with it. I took the boy home. If I had been alone in my car there is no way I would have picked him up. He just lucked out.
I have to confess that one time I was broken down between Del Rio and Sonora Tx and some Mexicans helped me. But that was many years ago before the great devide caused by the liberals.
