She also put out a tweet quoting Ted right after this happened telling people to vote their conscience. Ted helped the Clinton campaign, but a Clinton win makes a Ted run in 2020 more likely, not that he might not try to primary Trump anyway if Trump gets elected.

Hillary Clinton and her people are extremely cautious about anything she says in public. I don’t think she would have posted this if there was a risk that Cruz would tweet back an attack on her and denunciation of what she said.
