Glenn Beck spent a portion of his television program last night debating with audience members who are not very happy with his refusal to support Donald Trump, which Beck continues to insist he cannot do because voting for Trump carries eternal consequences.
To vote for either Trump or Hillary Clinton is to give his approval to genuine evil and "darkness," Beck said, and so unless God tells him otherwise, he cannot vote for Trump.
"We have to do what we feel the Lord would want us to do," Beck explained. "All I'm looking for now is to be seen in eyes of favor. Lord, I know who you are and I can't imagine standing in front of you and saying, 'But you don't understand, you weren't there.' He was there. And I don't want to say, 'I didn't have enough trust in you to hold the line on my principles' because those principles were right! Even if they were going to throw me in jail and crucify me upside down, I'm not wavering because I believe what I believe in and hopefully the Lord will recognize those who have trust in Him."

I turned on GB this week for the first time since January. I lasted for 15 minutes and I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say after 15 years he’s lost me forever.
Mormons don’t worship God, they worship gods. He has nothing to worry about.
Pray America wakes
Comment of the Day! Thanks for your astute analysis!
Medved once worked for this guy.

Its not much of any reach for this guy to vote for Hillary.
Red Ron Dellums? LOL. When I was on a high school trip to DC Dellums stiffed us. EVERY other kid in a group of about 200 from all over the country got to see his/her Congressperson except us. Dellums had no time for suburban kids from his district. I have a good guess why.
“... Cheeto-free forever. Somewhere theres a 12 Step program for that.”
Absolutely. It’s called “Cheetos Anonymous”.
Glenn Beck is what happens when psycho’s go off their meds.
He’ll only change his mind if he gets a sign from God...umm ok, what does he think all these terrorist attacks. Sometimes I believe God is a little less subtle then a burning bush speaking directly to you. God has faith in our ability to ‘read between the lines’. Apparently, Beck needs the proverbial boot in his ass to get the message.
Reminds of that old tale (which I will abbreviate) about the guy on the roof of his house, praying to the Lord to save him from the rapidly rising flood waters. When he finally succumbs and is front of the Lord, he asks God, I prayed why didn’t you save me. The Lord’s response was “I sent a boat, I sent a helicopter...”
Oh yeah? WELL, DONALD TRUMP WILL NOT VOTE FOR GLENN BECK, EITHER!
He thinks God is going to honor his cheeto-faced valor?
As a member of the Mormon cult God is not who he will answer to.
you label us all by one nutcake? doesn’t speak very highly of your discernment.... there are more christians backing trump than any other group.
God id bigger than Glenn Beck thinks.
Not doing something is also a choice, and you are evaluated on all of your choices.
Not voting for someone who is less than perfect, who opposes someone who is pro-abortion, a demonstrated liar, a demonstrated thief, treasonous, etc., etc. is a choice that Beck is free to make...but I have a rather strong suspicion that it will not be judged as one of his better decisions.

Which one? Don’t Mormons have several?
That must get confusing.
Having read through the thread, many of the comments sound exactly like four years ago when folks were saying the same thing about not voting for the Mormon Romney. Only this time they are criticizing the person saying they can’t vote for someone for religious reasons, instead of approving it.
The man is certifiably mentally ill.
I agree 100%.....I think Glen needs to make a few meetings at AA......he has to be back on the sauce. Does he really think GOD gives a hoot about who the President of the USA is???? Damn NUT!!!!
I can’t think of a prominent mormon who is supporting Trump. I guess Romney put the word out.
I think Glenn will eventually end up voting for Trump. But he has to come up with a pivot point/story or a sign from God.
