I’m not to surprised that ordinary prisoners have internet access nowadays. After all, they would claim the system was stacked against them when preparing appeals if they couldn’t at least get online in the library.
However, a prisoner convicted of espionage, specifically through theft of electronic records? That prisoner should be nowhere near a computer until they have served their full sentence.

Is that what they’re calling it now?

So, Manning has access to a cell phone in prison? I thought they were strictly prohibited.

If Bradley Manning is okay after his suicide attempt, it’s a shame he didn’t try killing himself years ago. Is a failed suicide attempt all it takes to cure the mental illness he suffered from? Or perhaps that was enough to bring in the attention he demands, so he doesn’t have to pretend to be female to get someone to listen.

The underlying weakness in all of this diversity talk is that suicide attempts and successes among homosexuals and all of their tangential subgroups is disproportionally high in comparison to the heterosexual population.
These people should be pitied and treated for their mental disorder, not celebrated for their bravery.
