I’m not to surprised that ordinary prisoners have internet access nowadays. After all, they would claim the system was stacked against them when preparing appeals if they couldn’t at least get online in the library.

However, a prisoner convicted of espionage, specifically through theft of electronic records? That prisoner should be nowhere near a computer until they have served their full sentence.
