Initial reports from Dallas described multiple snipers with AR-15s #weaponsofwar. The ongoing propaganda theme among the tabloids is that the AR-15 has become the weapon of choice for terrorists and mass shooters. It turns out that the terrorist in Dallas question used an antique, the SKS, (according to CBS News) but the facts never keep the press from a good propaganda theme.
The SKS was designed in the 40s in Russia. It is such a basic rifle that it is legal in California with no modification. With its fixed ten round magazine, the SKS is everything that the gun haters in California say a rifle must be. It is not black, no pistol grip, no flash hider or folding stock. It even shoots a intermediate power cartridge, 7.63 X 39. It is used as a cheap hunting gun across the US. I am sure that at this moment, some law maker in California is writing new legislation to close the mad man with an antique rifle loophole.

Here are pictures of the Black Panther shooter, and the rifle found in the rubble next to the dead body after the police robot exploded.
Note the rifle looks like the one Micah X carried in the Houston Black Panther's "oink oink kill pigs" rally, except the handle and sights were changed to add a scope.
Here is the story that shows the dead perp, and his rifle... Its a shame we have to keep going to the UK to get our news! CBS only feeds us B.S.

when Dallas SWAT made entry after the detonation of the explosive device, they encountered a Saiga AK-74 style semiautomatic rifle on the floor among the rubble.
"The weapon had a 30 round magazine, single point sling, Magpul folding stock and a rail system with a Primary Arms 5 power scope."
Morality is relative. My morals may not be yours.
I abide by the Code: True to my Family; Honor to my Word; Duty to my Principles.
The one in Houston is an AR15. For an SKS you just need to pop out the trigger group, remove the box mag and it will accept detachable mags.
In the photo you posted, I clearly see a forward assist, an iron sight and a bayonet M4 barrel.
The top photo is an AR, the lower is an AK. I am, however, impressed that he isn’t using an NCStar scope.
But to mount a scope on the top rail of an AK and expect magnification and performance is futile. The folding stock also isn’t a Magpul offering. looks more like a late 90s KNOXX construction (Although I can’t confirm that either)
He could own more than one rifle though. I imagine he took his best to the riot to make his stand though. I don’t think a photo exists with me holding the same rifle twice. Of course, there are no photos of me holding a rifle.
Because I’m smarter than your average bear.
Nope...sorry. The oink oink pic, the panty stealing muzzie murdering negro was holding an AR platform.
The rifle laying on the ground in the rubble is an AK platform. Notice the long throw safety lever on the side of the weapon...that is an AK47 with a AK74 compensator.
Which renders your SKS a jammin piece of crap. lol
Been there, done that, back in original condition...that is before I lost it in an unfortunate boating accident.
I’ve had a couple, never had a problem. Difficult to find good mags though. Not sure if the commies ever made them.
Well, at least I was right about his having blew eyes.
Spoke to a couple of Russian dudes at the gun show. They were selling nothing but AK47, 74’s and SKS’s. Asked what their recommendation was.
Theyski toldski meski....put the SKS back to it's original condition for reliability sake.
I do not agree. The rifle in the top photo is some sort of AR platform. The rifle in the bottom photo most certainly is not AR.
Search images for "AR forward assist", and "AR charging handle", then compare the charging handle of the rifle in the lower photo. Compare everything, for that matter. It's an entirely different rifle & action, beyond just the carrying handle of the AR in the upper photo.
The rifle on the left is an AR type. On the right is a Saiga in 5.45 or 5.56 (they make both). The 7.62x39mm magazine curves more.
We still have no idea what weapon was used. My guess is we’ll find out this week.
No, morality is not relative. Morality is written on the human heart. We all know that some things are right and others are not.
Not the same rifle as he is holding at the protest. Different rifle.
Except that was NOT him at the protest. That was another guy.
Yes, one rifle is an AR type, the other is a Saiga - a Russian rifle.
Norinco made a "Paratrooper" model that used AK mags and there was an adapter that used AK mags though I don't know how well it worked.
Way, way past time. ‘Course stuff is still very available.
It could happen again. Obozo is just chompin at the bit to do something...anything to deprive Americans of their 2nd amendment rights.
The latest shootings probably has this numbnut and his white haters in the backrooms formulating his next grand move. We still have over six months of this guy to endure.
Lower pic, 7.62x39, maybe 5.45x39,,,either way Looks like a Saiga to me.
