With all the debate and polls on who should be Trumps VP, real life circumstances points out where Trump will need help the most and who could help him the most. And that is Dr Ben Carson. The Balkanization of America is its greatest threat.
Dr Carson is the only candidate who has shown the ability to lower the hostility between individuals and with different racial and cultural groups. The country is divided and to be any where successful Trump will need help uniting people.
Anybody can guide him with the inner workings of government but only a high profile person like a Vice President has the status to garner the attention needed for large amounts of people.
Mr Trump I have found your first instinct is usually the correct one. Dr Carson is your man.
Post convention, Trump needs to convince voters who're afraid of him now that he's a solid, stable, presidential type. That means his VP has to step up and carry the message. Carson isn't equipped for that, as his lackluster campaign performance shows.
Carson's race will count for nothing. In fact, it will be viewed as negative. He'll be called all manner of vile and disgusting names by the race hustlers in the Democrat Party and painted as an "inauthentic negro." He'll be mocked for his religion, and told he's benefitted from Affirmative Action even if he doesn't admit to it.
After the election, he'll be no assistance whatsoever in helping the new president navigate the byzantine labyrinth of Washington, DC. And if you think Trump can possibly succeed without bringing the apparat to heel, I want some of what you're smoking. Like Bush, like Reagan, the running dogs will do everything they can to sabotage his Presidency. Having a pleasant Veep who doesn't know the Federal scene will not help with that at all.
No. Just plain no.
Tell me one conservative black man the press or demoncrats respect.
Not Allen West
Not Alan Keyes
Trump would actually get more Black votes if his running mate were Eminem.
Carson’s knowledge of how to use a hammer might come in handy
at a Trump rally with violent protesters.
Let’s be honest with ourselves, Carson is slow-minded and weak.
Vanilla ice is actually a very articulate businessman.
I respectfully disagree and put forth Allen West.
Ridiculous. Two novices.. They’ll be eaten alive.
Would be called Uncle Tom.
Ummm... Let’s see... NO.
I’ll support you here.
Carson is truly an incredible man. I have close knowledge of him. 2 degrees of separation from different directions, if you will.
He has an incredible morality, and equanimity unmatched by anyone. Very much the steadying force behind a “blowhard” like Trump. He is thoughtful and introspective, the other side of successful prosecution of an agenda.
I honestly came to see him as the closest to a Washington we’ve had in a long time.
My God, how incredibly absurd.
Silent = dumb and weak?
May I suggest a mirror. Are WE really that stupid to believe that?
And that’s a bad thing? Why take a chance on an experienced politician being a heartbeat away when you can have them as an advisor.
I disagree.
He is for the cabinet. HHS. Surgeon General.
Have you ever watched how he handles them? There is more their than color.
No.
Um.. no.
Carson has the correct instincts on some issues. On others, he’s a crackpot. Knows nothing of governing.
