Donald Trump, according to a new report, has accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
No, you didn't accidentally click on The Onion. That's a factual statement, according to a well-respected evangelical faith leader.
Dr. James Dobson, who was among the more than 900 evangelical faith leaders who met with the Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting in New York City, says it happened fairly recently. He also said he knew who led the businessman to Christ.
"I don't know when it was, but it has not been long," Dobson told Godfactor's Michael Anthony in an exclusive interview. "I believe he really made a commitment, but he's a baby Christian. We all need to be praying for him, especially if there's a possibility of him being our next chief executive officer."

You mean Cruz? Yes Cruz pushed his faith at every single moment.
And I was one of them!
Got raked over the coals here for my stand.
Just toughened me up a bit more.
Looking down the long road; Eternity is gonna be a wee bit longer than this country will exist upon the earth.
Go into the highways and byways and COMPEL them to come in: that My house may be FULL!
And those folks will probably tell you they are Christians: if you ask them.
In every church I have been to, it has always been taught that as long as you have breath, there is hope for you. Even though her sins are piled as high as heaven, as long as she comes to Jesus and acknowledges her sins and asks forgiveness, He has promised He will forgive.
Now, one would think that there would be some consequences in this life that she would be subject to, and that is up to God. One would hope that if she did truly repent of her sins, she would be compelled by the Lord to turn herself in to the authorities for prosecution. Even though she would be utterly free from any punishment in the afterlife, she will need to answer for her crimes in this life.
Just my opinion.
John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, What must we do to do the works God requires?
Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.
I was called ugly by a toad once.
It made me sad.
And those folks will probably tell you they are Christians: if you ask them.

I am sometimes amazed at the beliefs of some that call themselves Christians. For many of them, it’s a believe what you want to believe. I’ve seen people that identify as Christian that didn’t even believe in the resurrection.
Many are buying into the pluralism lies. The Bible cannot be true if pluralism. There is only one way to the Father and that is through Jesus Christ.
There are plenty of threads on FR that address this; no need to go there in THIS one just yet.
James 2:14-26
Remember; Obama went to a CHURCH; too.
As a youth; he went to a MOSQUE.
How high and big are the hoops that follow?
And; I'd hope they are hearing the Words that will GET them 'saved'!
John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and life.
Yup!!
1 My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, Heres a good seat for you, but say to the poor man, You stand there or Sit on the floor by my feet, 4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7 Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?
8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself,[a] you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11 For he who said, You shall not commit adultery,[b] also said, You shall not murder.[c] If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, Go in peace; keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18 But someone will say, You have faith; I have deeds.
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe thatand shudder.
20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,[e] and he was called Gods friend. 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
Hardly : )
I misread your post number 8 last night. Thus my remarks were off base and misdirected. Apology for my mistake and the misspeak.

This was information presented by Genevieve Wood at a dinner hosted by the Heritage Foundation in (as I remember) spring 2010. They were trying to bolster the evangelical participation after the McCain defeat. Furthermore, Rush repeatedly says that Romney carried the independents but lost the Republican base, which is why so many polls were wrong.
Have you accepted Christ? Evidence?
Judge not, lest you be judged...
