Donald Trump, according to a new report, has accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
No, you didn't accidentally click on The Onion. That's a factual statement, according to a well-respected evangelical faith leader.
Dr. James Dobson, who was among the more than 900 evangelical faith leaders who met with the Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting in New York City, says it happened fairly recently. He also said he knew who led the businessman to Christ.
"I don't know when it was, but it has not been long," Dobson told Godfactor's Michael Anthony in an exclusive interview. "I believe he really made a commitment, but he's a baby Christian. We all need to be praying for him, especially if there's a possibility of him being our next chief executive officer."

But He bears patiently with you, His desire being that no one should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
Will this help?
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Be a bit careful in doing this...
Luke 18:9-14
9 To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:
10 Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.14 I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: God, I thank you that I am not like other peoplerobbers, evildoers, adulterersor even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.13 But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
So will...
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits.

We DO??
Matthew 20:1-16New International Version (NIV)
20 For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. 2 He agreed to pay them a denarius[a] for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
3 About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right. 5 So they went.
He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. 6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?
7 Because no one has hired us, they answered.
He said to them, You also go and work in my vineyard.
8 When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.
9 The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 These who were hired last worked only one hour, they said, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.
13 But he answered one of them, I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didnt you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Dont I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?
16 So the last will be first, and the first will be last.
At one of his rallies, Trump said he was Presbyterian. Suits me.
You may want to rethink this just a WEE bit!

I'm praying that those who post 'facts' show where they get them from.
FRFarisee(I never watch reality TV or them big guys that jump on each other; either)
Many are upset by the DISorganized kind as well!
I’m a ‘christian’ and I can guarantee you there are things about me that many of FR’s kind folks will find highly distasteful!
If a person believes in God (and I leave mozlems out of this discussion) and tries their best to follow the precepts including the golden rule which is in every religion, and genuinely respects others, thats good enough for me.
I'll say THIS as a Christian:
John 14:6 NIVJesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
I have nothing against Presbyterians. They go to CHURCH, not to a MOSQUE.
While we are Roman Catholic, there are plenty of people who think we worship more than Christ.
I’ll not criticize another person’s Christian beliefs, the key word being Christian.
In my family there are Baptists, Roman Catholics, Episcopalians, my father was a Jehovah’s Witness.
At least you didn’t call me a racist and a bigot for not agreeing with you.
Be careful what you vote for.
A President with NO guiding spiritual principles?
One with Muslim ones??
Or one with Christian ones???
Mormon 70% 19% 11%
?????
And yet we get Harry Reid: Mormon Rabid Democrat.
For one seeking to be received into the Orthodox Church, accepting Christ is only the first step!!!! Many do not realize that.
I am happy that Mr. Trump has taken that step. Praise be to God!!!!
Don’t go and take this all personal. I don’t know you. It’s a discussion.
Not for you to know/judge. God knows, that’s all that matters. I would venture to guess that 1/2 to 3/4 of your church congregation are not saved. Maybe even fewer than that. Do you also profess to know which ones? Are you even one of them? (again not personal, just a discussion)
Matthew 7 NKJV
The Narrow Way
13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are MANY who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are FEW who find it.
One of many profound verses in the bible.
Consider the words “few” and “many” as a percentage. What percentage would you think “few” is? I was taught as a child that 2 was a pair and that a few was 3 or 4. I would say that it can’t be more than 10% (more likely 5%).
So whether Donald Trump (or you for that matter) is truly “saved”, is questionable, thankfully there is still time to repent and accept His FREE gift.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Only God knows our hearts, Trump’s included. Dobson doesn’t. Dobson’s a pompous a$$.
I hope Dobson is right, but since it is something I can’t possibly know for certain about “anyone”, I am not going to let it influence my voting decision for president. Neither should anyone else, for the same reason.
Please don’t send me verses about “fruit”. They have nothing to do with salvation. Remember “not of works”.
Luke 23: NKJV
40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong. 42 Then he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
43 And Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.
What fruits had he produced? Yet, his repentance and acceptance were enough to save him.
GO TRUMP!
Matthew 8:4
Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
That WOULD be a bit of a step down from KING; wouldn't it.
You've not PERFECT like some others on FR are?
