The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated defending champions Golden State Warriors, 93-89, in Game 7 of the NBA Finals for the first title in franchise history.

hate them too... never been much into clippers or lakers, but been a Dodger fan since 1960
CONGRATULATIONS, CAVS!!
I’ve never been interested in basketball, but wasn’t the California team being band-wagonned by the Bernie supporters?
Love it! Glad to see GS get beat. Bigmouth Draymond Green choked. Little Curry choked. Love it! Too much reliance on 3-pointers, huh GS?
I love the game! Sorry you are such a sour-pus, but that's ok. Maybe you were good at T-Ball.
I’m no big fan of LeBron but the Warriors got just deserts after Draymon Green’s pathetic sportsmanship throughout the playoffs.
Not whining. I’m a Laker fan who enjoys basketball.
The NBA wanted this win for Lebron. Plain and simple. The suspension of Green was overkill and changed the whole series.
Hey, I get it. It’s all about the story and the money. Mission accomplished.
I refer to it as the “Squeak-Squeak” game, for the lovely noise the shoes make on the floor.
Buncha genetic freaks bouncing an inflated pig’s bladder then tossing it at a peach basket.
The most violent non-contact “sport” EVER!
true, but many of Lebron's assists in the last few games -- especially Game 6 -- were pure touch. More point gaurd than tight end.
I love the game and the Cavs! WHOO HOO! What a great night!
Any pro sport that plays so many games and a team still ends up with a 73-9 with a 890 winning % is a flawed sport. There is something very wrong there. I mean come on.
Freegards
Jesus Christ, let Cleveland enjoy it already.
Actually, and I can’t believe my Black and Gold self is typing this, the Bay Area has lost to the Rust Belt TWICE in the last 2 weeks in sports championships.
The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks (in 6) to win the Stanley Cup.
The Burgh had over 400k at the Victory Parade last Wednesday. No arrests...but admittedly, been there, done that, before.
Congrats to Cleveland...#TheCityOfChampion
Congrats and ENJOY!!!
I understand your sentiment, but I don’t think that Cleveland and Pittsburgh would think of themselves being lumped into the same category.
God it feels good!
The Republican convention had half the arena ripped up, yet there where thousands and thousands in downtown for watch parties at the Q and the other venues.
Last year Cleveland gave a good run with their third string. Irving wasn’t the only one out.
There have been no reports of any problems and the city is intact. There is nothing but love and a great deal of relief all around!
Again...I had difficulty posting those words...a rare moment of sports congeniality or something.
