There's nothing wrong with intramural sports in college. Professional college sports teams full of criminals and morons pretending to be students shouldn't exist.
absolutely.
Your comment will make sense as soon as you can show me where in the Constitution it says there is a right to: Force taxpayers to fund professional sports teams at public universities. Force colleges to lower their standards to admit morons simply because they can throw or catch a ball.
The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a fundamental right inherent in the humanity of all of us: the right to defend our lives and the lives of those we love.
Equating an idiotic desire to watch semi-professional sports teams on college campuses -- as if that were a "right" -- to something as basic as the Second Amendment says everything about how well grounded your conservatism is.
I'm going to hope this is a joke. If it isn't, you need to educate yourself about how profitable college sports is. The reason these schools put up with this nonsense in the first place is entirely because of how much money they make from them.
One of the benefits from MLB’s system is that it’s hard to be a spoiled superstar mouthbreather who is idolized by all the fans when you are playing 2nd base for the Richmond Flying Squirrels or the Altoona Curve travelling by bus. You might be a mouthbreather but no one is generally idolizing you.
Also, dads are much more important in baseball where repletion is required to hone the baseball skillset more so than pure athletic ability. So I think maybe there is less chance of extreme jerkitude being fostered before you make it to the highest level.
Freegards
good question.
Yeah, they are taught all those things, but then they do stuff like this. Stanford, now this and who knows how many others. Frankly, there isn’t a NEED for an athletic program at uni.
I beg your pardon? That is out of line and unfair.
Thumbs up.
Universities were originally supposed to be about scholars and studies and getting an education that will enhance a perspective that was originally limited. Now it’s about sports and there isn’t any ‘right’ for colleges to make a huge profit (as if tuition doesn’t bring in enough) via farming athletes.
Oh yes. It would at least provide a reality that has for too long been hidden behind closed doors. I wonder what the deterrent effect would be if in fact teens were forced to watch executions. In the Middle Ages, parents would bring their kids and FORCE the buggers to watch people being hanged, ‘lest they fall into crime likewise.’
The real problem is that it promotes a party atmosphere to a student body that is too immature and energetic to learn to control their high spirits and basically, the party environment causes these brats to become even crazier.
Between affluenza and the availability of porn from very young ages, this behavior has spread like wildfire. How many young boys see videos of loving, tender sex vs videos of degrading porn?
What is an Alice Baker presence?
What the hell kind of question is that?
The DnA of one of the thugs was on one of the boxes of condoms.
Exactly. Everything is a game to them and every woman is a plaything.
Unlikely. He’s 6’8”.
Aryan Brotherhood prison gang
Ah, thanks! And the Aryan Brotherhood gang would be hard on a purdy-mouthed white boy like Brandon Vandenburg, do you think?
