MENTOR, Ohio — A man dressed as a woman groped a teenage girl at the Mentor Public Library.
Police are still looking for the man involved in the May 29 incident, Mentor police Lt. Dan Molnar said Friday.
The girl was not physically harmed.
Surveillance cameras captured the man entering the library in the 8200 block of Mentor Avenue at 11:30 a.m. dressed in a black dress, wig and high heels.
The man struck up a conversation with the 14-year-old girl, police said.
The two joked about the man's attire before he touched the teen inappropriately, according to police reports.

Was the assaulted person a “girl” or merely identifying as a “girl”.

I’ve been groped. Very nasty, very upsetting, even damaging. But it did not destroy the rest of my life although I believe I was upset as most girls.
Take a poll. I’ll bet most women have been groped.
Wrong. There are a lot of screwed up people in this world and, at least in part, it starts with this kind of event their lives I bet that a vast majority of the messed up people come from homes where there was some kind of abuse (sexual, physical, or mental).
Worst of all, it is a disease that is passed on because the abused person is likely to abuse others including his own children.

Also, this is why the recidivism rate for child molesters and rapists is very high.
Also, some claim that gays are made from an experience like simple fondling and young girls struggle with puberty as it is (without having had to deal with an unwanted advance when they were very young).
At what age were you groped? It makes a difference. An adult can reconcile it with themselves because they are mature. Not so for a young girl.
Of course most women have been groped. In my mother’s era, women carried hat pins on the subway to stick in a man’s hand. I carried pepper spray. I had many unwanted sexual advances and survived. Girls and young women must reconcile themselves to this, arm themselves, and stay tough. No talking to transgenders and other freaks. That is Lesson #1.
Rape is a totally different thing. That, indeed, can destroy a life.
Transgenders may indeed have been tormented in their youth but I think they have a mental disease - as Johns Hopkins believes. If a guy in a bad wig is molesting girls, he belongs in prison - perhaps with sex reassignment without anesthesia.
Women - and girls - must toughen themselves to the vipers among us. Perhaps they need a savvy mother like I had to teach them.
