I remember when Mozilla fired Brendan Eich for being a normal human being, I was sort of bummed that I was going to stop browsing with Firefox. I'm not really the organized boycotting type, but I am someone who simply refuses to participate in idiocy. If some anti-American Hollywood liberal wants to fight against a normal civilization, then I just stop watching their movies and buying their music. If a coffee establishment tells their baristas to engage with me about race when I'm trying to get my morning triple venti soy latte, then I go elsewhere. If one of my favorite conservative-leaning talk show hosts starts supporting a liberal for President, then I turn the dial. It's not that I keep a list, but if it's seared into my brain deep enough, then I certainly alter my habits as a consumer of products, services, and content. Conversely, if someone is under attack by Marxists, then I tend to overly support them, like the Chick-Fil-A scenario, where I was stuffing my face with spicy chicken sandwiches several times per week for months. Thank goodness that died down. Anyway, I knew whatever Eich ended up doing, if it was a product or service, I was going to be a customer. I have no idea what Eich's politics are, but I know he is someone worth supporting.

I have bookmarks in Brave. There is a bookmarks toolbar and a bookmarks manager.
I haven’t tried mass importing bookmarks so I don’t know if that’s an option. I’ve just been creating bookmarks within Brave.
Okay, I just looked and there is an ‘import bookmarks from html function’ available in the menu bar. How that works, I dunno.
Thanks to Tolerance Sucks Rocks for the ping!!
I don't know about the "You absolutely MUST..." part, or all the "fabulous" description, you understand... I just ping to stuff you guys might be interested in... :-)
Good question.
Just click the star to the right of the URL address. I haven't figured out how to get everything into a folder yet but adding a bookmark is pretty simple. Otherwise I'd be stumped.
Fast, very fast......I’m still figuring it out, but so far I like it.
I’ll check that out...thanks.
Dare I ask?
Please tell us he returned stateside in good health.
I’ve been running it on my ‘experimental’ Win10 machine since Feb. or so (experimental in that I was given a Win7 machine with fairly decent specs but really had no use for another machine, so I ‘allowed’ Windows to update itself to Win10 rather than subject my own machines to that process.)
Brave has been improving with each update, but keep in mind that it is still for practical purposes in ‘beta’ so not everything that could be/would be in the final release version is in there.
My opinion so far is that when it is ‘finished’ I probably will replace Firefox with it.
Thank you for the post. I dropped Firefox for Opera, but will give Brave a try also. Eich was Mozilla’s loss.

Yeah there’s a lot of sites itn still doesn’t support. For some reason I can’t get it to log on to my ATT email account, I can’t see quotes at NASDAQ.
Still a work in progress but what it does do it does reallly fast.
Looks like they have a Linux version. I’ll check it out. I’d heard previously it was going to be win and osx only.
I haven’t had any of these problems. Imported bookmarks from Firefox, changed my home page, etc. all in under 10 minutes.
Bump
Bump
Holy Crap Batman! That’s a freaking fast browser.
Wow. May have to try this out for a while.
I’ve been using it since I saw this thread earlier this afternoon.
I can actually view sites now without the popups, slowdown, crippling of the computer that I had with Win10 browser.
No problems so far.
I don’t understand what you mean by bookmarking not being easy. I right-clicked on this page, selected ‘bookmark’, and it prompted where to file it just like firefox would.
I installed it and all I get is a white screen. So far, I wouldn’t recommend it. LOL!
