Ha.
Hate fact!
Haa haahaa, that’s funny, I’ll use it!!
Bad, horrible news for everyone at Baylor, and for everyone who has connections to Baylor - Mrs. Sooner is a Baylor alum, BTW, class of '82. She's taking it personally, thanks for asking.
Not particularly a good day for the Big 12 conference or for the game of college football or for NCAA/NAIA sports in general, if it's really important.
Guess who's gonna now find it necessary to jump into the middle of all of it under the guise of Title IX?
I, myself, am gonna try my best to stay away from any of the ancillary stuff at hand, at least today, and pray for the young victims of these multiple sexual assaults for healing and for justice.
All the other bullshit can just wait.
It’s definitely a sad day for Baylor fans. And I’m one. It’s really hard to believe anyone, especially Briles, could be so stupid as to think this wouldn’t get out eventually.
And firing Star and Briles is not going to be the end of it. Lots more heads will roll. Phil Bennett is named the interim head coach even though it was several of his defensive players who were the biggest perps. I’ll never believe he didn’t know.
I’m sure they knew they couldn’t fire the entire staff. That would be the same as shutting down the team. But, truthfully, I see the death penalty coming. There are way too many assaults and there will be more women coming forward. And like I said on another post, I don’t believe all the thugs became good guys all of a sudden a few years back. So there were probably some problems in the last year or so.
I’d really like to see the Texas Rangers investigating and going after everyone who had anything to do with it. Especially the Waco Police Department.
Tell the misses I feel her pain. It’s a sad day. My wife and I met in Waco and go back every now and then just for the memories.
Oh, and the perps should be charged. Including the three that beat the hell out of the white guy and put him in the hospital. I don’t think the statute of limitation has run out on any of it.
So that excuses him from looking the other way while his players rape women?
Oregone does that all the time.....cover up...they even released private communications between a female student and her counselor at the UofO..that’s how low they’ll go...
If you keep lesbians out of women’s sports, you’ll have two players on the b-ball team.
^^^ This right here.
By the way, to me the sadness started last week when they tore down Floyd Casey Stadium.
