A transmasculine teacher at an Oregon elementary school has been awarded $60,000 by her school district as compensation for harassment she claims to have suffered on the job, including being referred to by the wrong pronoun.
According to The Oregonian, Leo Soell was born a woman, but now prefers to identify as transmasculine and genderqueer, meaning she does not consider herself to be male or female. After getting breast cancer in late 2014, she had her breasts amputated to create a more masculine appearance and changed her name to Leo. Once she returned from medical school in May, 2015, Soell was fully public with her gender-neutral identity.
Once she returned to work, Soell claims she fell victim to relentless harassment from her co-workers. She says employees persisted in calling her hurtful terms like Miss Soell, lady, and she. If a student asked Soells sex, she says she was ordered to reply it was a private matter not suitable for discussion at school.

Yes, basic grammar is another victim of this utter nonsense.
I went to Google Image and searched for Leo Soell. Then I looked for a gal who would be about the same age and shape of face as Leo, clicked on the picture and went to View Page. Sure enough, it was another article about this same tranny teacher, and it had both before and after pictures and revealed her original name, Brina Soell.
Just call people XX or XY.
Could you find that article again? I think the photo has been removed from any article. I tried searching the way you suggested and haven’t seen one with the before photo yet.
Cut and paste:

I’ve seen the photo on Google images, but for the life of me, I can’t see these as being the same person. The ears look different. I see no dimples when “it” smiles. There are some resemblances, but I checked on FB, too. If you search Brina Soell there, you will come up with a few sisters, none of whom look like the before photo and all have strong resemblances in the face to the after one. This is just my opinion. You may be quite right, but I wonder why the Internet took down the “before” photo. Wrong person?
Couldn't find a fer-sure Brina pic, but I did come across this article in the Times (Portland) and it looks like --- well, see for yourself --- if not medical malpractice, then maybe medical "mishandling". She was on high doses of estrogen hormones for some reason as a teen, and then got breast cancer, which can be an estrogen-triggered condition. Then, double mastectomy.
Then with no breasts and a drastic drop in estrogen, she thinks she's "really" masculine? Surprise?
Sorry for my error.
they had they breasts amputated
sounds like ebonics...
Wow. It is offended when people use respectful titles.
This is nuts.
So if you don’t go along with her delusions, you get fined?
Just who is running this asylum here?
I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t believe these people are being harassed. They do the harassing and then comes the payday. What sick, demented people. Get some help.
Just parenthetically, this character teaches the kids in Oregon Psychopathology and How to Acquire/Profit From It.
No problem. The two people just didn’t look enough alike to me. I would be very surprised if it turns out that is her real before photo.
Wow, after looking at that photo, she reminds me of Ellen Degeneres and her attempts to dress and look like a 16 year old boy.........
LGBTWhatever is the new victim group Money Hustle. Use the court system to sue & finance your lifestyle.
In her before picture, she looks like a pretty and healthy young lady. She looks very thin and sickly in the after photo. I would feel sorry for her if she hadn’t sued. Many women must make the same choice in order to survive. Apparently, this woman thinks that, as a result, she now has no gender. In a saner world, she would be receiving psychiatric help.
I agree. The very fact that people are now legally obliged to affirm and enable her delusion, makes it all the more difficult for her to ever get the help she needs.
