Hillary Clintons second inevitable triumphal march to the Democratic nomination is even more depressing than her first one. At least eight years ago there was an ascendant star, a rare political phenom, with a smooth manner and glitzy style. Once Obama got traction there really was no way to stop him. To paraphrase one of his own gnomic gems: he was the one everyone was waiting for.
This time it is so different. This time Hillary may finally get the nomination after a life in politics, cashing in on a generation or two of IOUs, deploying her army of gender warriors, leaning on her cohorts in the liberal press, dusting off Bill and sending him out to rouse or agitate the dwindling number of true believers. She has every possible means of campaign support, from the fear she inspires among her allies, to the Clinton hold on much of the party, to some of the most wicked campaign doctors in the business, all fused and fired by her own ardent, fever-ridden ambition and preternatural sense of pure entitlement. Remember: IT IS HER TURN.
But with all that, and with the lock on the numbers she strong-boxed from the outset those mummified super delegates she is barely crawling her way to the convention, being bested in primary after primary, by one of the most unlikely, ungainly, unhip and unscripted candidates in a presidential election ever: the awesome socialist septuagenarian Bernie Sanders.

We’re the ones being tortured.
‘...dusting off Bill...’
Ick! There’s not enough money in the WORLD... ;)
The only redeeming feature of bad people like Hillary!
is they never are able to stop. They just keep going
on, past any point of credulity.
More like, it’s her turn in the barrel!
Hillary never stood a chance, and all the insiders know it.
Her run for the White House is nothing more than a sham to make it appear to her 'donors' that she really intends to make good on her wink-and-nod promises to deliver the goods, after they shoveled hundreds of millions of dollars into her 'foundation'.
She and Bill knew full well that 2008 was her last possible hope of ever being elected as president. Once Obama took that away from them, the only other alternative was to convince rich suckers around the world that the Clinton brand was still marketable, and that she was a shoe-in for president in 2016.
For their part, the DNC was willing to throw the nomination to Hillary to help her fool the marks, because they already knew the Republicans would take back the White House this year. It didn't cost them anything to ease Bill and Hillary out the door for good.
Also, it’s Hillary’s last gasp! Hooray!
Hillary and the lamestream media's usual game of personal destruction has the opposite effect on Trump this election: each lie and smear only makes him stronger and more appealing to his base!
Especially that voice
Really? Who was that?
Not that it matters, since whoever he was, he did not manage to beat Obama.
Did you see her thighs in that new blue pants suit!!!
Oh I don't know - if Trump didn't magically appear on the scene, we'd be looking at Jeb laying the White House at her feet right now.
So bernie’s not “the one everyone was waiting for?”
Algore did basically the same thing. When he lost in 2000, he decided to cash in for everything he could squeeze from dumb liberals. He reaped a kings ransom from the geniuses of Silicon Valley.
I wonder if we'll ever know how much money was spent trying to find dirt on Trump.
I agree with Scott Adams - 65-35 Trump.
True but she's well past her Sell by: date and with each passing day it becomes more and more difficult to cover the stench even with generous amounts of the $4.49 per gallon Odor da Colon from the Dollar Store...............
The US will never benefit from being “serviced” by H->!.
