A top Texas official said the state will not yield to "blackmail" from President Barack Obama, after the administration on Friday released a directive notifying public school officials that transgender students must be allowed to use the restroom and locker room facilities corresponding with their gender identity.
"I believe it is the biggest issue facing families and schools in America since prayer was taken out of public schools," Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick told reporters.
Obama's policy "will divide the country not along political lines but along family values and school districts," Patrick said.

If you still have man parts, then you need to use the men’s bathroom. If not, then we can provide the tools for removal of your man parts, so that you can use the women’s bathroom.
Why is it the dignity of all young teen girls must be trashed to save the dignity of one 17 yr old male who thinks he’s female? Why should a 13 year old be exposed to male genitals in a high school locker room shower?

Clearly liberals do not give a crap about how the 99.9% of children who are not transsexual feel about being forced to share bathrooms and showers with children of the opposite sex.
But do they really think they are doing any favors for anatomical boys who think they are girls by sending them into girls bathrooms and showers? They don’t think anyone will notice that what they thought was another girl has boy parts?
No, call a special session that says Texas will no longer accepting any federal funding for education, and will no longer abide by any federal education guidelines or regulations.

I hope that all of this cr@p makes Governors in EVERY state stand up and realize that they’ve been extorted/manipulated/screwed by the Feds for DECADES, now.
I know the ‘Rat states don’t care, but those of us that are still hanging on to concepts such as, ‘States Rights’ and ‘Freedom’ and ‘Liberty’ might want to take a closer look at this.
