Why did they attack us at Benghazi? It's been over 3 1/2 years since the attack at Benghazi. Some of the lies about the attack have recently been cleared up. I think it's time to take the truth and go back and examine some of the basic questions about this event.
Here is the truth that clears up three lies about Benghazi. 1. The attack was never a spontaneous response to a movie. Hillary Clinton herself wrote that the attack was a planned operation. 2. The United States could have had a military response to the attack which could have saved American lies. 3. Ambassador Stevens was not a homosexual. He had at one time been engaged to a very pretty actress.
So, let us go back to the basic question.
Why did they attack us at Benghazi?
Let's flesh it out a little.
Why this place? Why this time? Why this manner of attack?
What was their objective with this attack?
The attacker has some very important strengths when he attacks. He chooses the place of the attack. He chooses the time of the attack. He chooses the means of the attack.
Why did the enemy choose to attack us at Benghazi at that time and in that manner?
Yes, I am asking you to think. The Democrats just want you to listen to them and they have proven themselves to be liars about this matter.
Use what you know of the background of this attack and what you know of human nature and your experiences and examine this event.
Why did they attack us at Benghazi?
Mohammed Morsi's #1 CAMPAIGN PLEDGE TO EGYPT was getting the Blind Sheik released. This is a HUGE clue and often overlooked.
I believe they used the cans of diesel in the compound that were there for the US vehicles.

The General giSt of the Benghazi operation was to knock off the Assad on the cheap; this CIA operation had no Congressional approval, no Congressional funding, which is the best way if you want to keep it quiet and have no leaks.
Khaddafi’s mostly unguarded arsenal would finance knocking off Assad.
Khaddafi’s Arsenal made especially good sense because after Reagan bombings of Tripoli and Benghazi, khaddafi had a very strong and healthy respect for American airpower, so he had been on a decade-long manpads buying binge, and that was one weapon type that the CIA was especially interested in procuring for free.
Benghazi was essentially a manpads acquisition and quality control operation for rebel proxies in syria.
this meant that events in far away Benghazi were affecting Russian and Iranian interests in Syria.
after awhile this International arms smuggling ratline became known.
Russia’s only access to the Mediterranean is in Syria which is its client State as well as that of Iran, so naturally both Russia and Iran had very good reason to resent American clandestine activity in Benghazi.
the attack on the compound was financing arranged by Iran and Russia.
This Thread started out with the question why did Benghazi get attacked, and that is the reason why.
my own belief is that that the weapons used in the nerve gas attack in Syria 3 years ago probably came from Gaddafi’s unguarded Arsenal, which did include chem weapons.
I don’t know if those chem weapons went through Benghazi, but the idea that that attack was a Russian chem attack is ridiculous.
the chem attack was from our Rebel friends, who were waist-deep in Khaddafi’s weapons.

They faked a video. They planted a story that Stephens was 'gay', on September 12th. Why not plant the notion this was about taking Stevens prisoner? What happened was what was planned. By the way any reports of who got Libya's gold?

If the Libyans didn’t care whether he lived or not, why do it? Why announce that they did CPR on him for 90 minutes?
If Stevens wasn’t the target, why did they go through so much effort to try and keep him alive?
Why do CPR on a dead man for 90 minutes? Stevens was the guy with all the 'secrets'. Dead men tell no tales.

You are looking at it from the U.S. administration point of view, which only tells one half of the story.
When you look at it from the Libyan attackers point of view, it opens up a lot more answers.
If they (the Libyan attackers) were trying to free Omar Abdel-Rahman in a prisoner transfer, then the ambassador (taken alive) would have been their best option.
And we know that freeing Abdel-Rahman is a major goal of many terrorists, especially those associated with Egypt.
If that is the reason they went there, to grab Stevens to trade him for Abdel-Rahman, then everything the Libyans did after the attack (i.e. taking Stevens to the hospital, trying CPR for 90 minutes) makes sense.
Without that motivation on the part of the Libyans, none of that makes sense. None of it.
Optics for who?
As you assert, the Media is the one hiding bad Arab acting. But this isn’t Arabs acting bad that the media is trying to hide, this is Arabs acting “good”.
But why would they act good? They don’t want to be seen as helping the U.S. to other Arabs, and they certainly don’t think that taking the man they just attacked to the hospital will provide good optics.
They wanted Stevens alive. It’s the only answer that makes sense.
I am looking at the verifiable facts. At the time of Stevens death, Libya was under Hillry's control. AND so far there is no reason to believe anything other than 4 Americans were slaughtered, and all the weapons, gold and 'intel' was taken by unnamed 'workers'. NOT one outside of Libya responded to aide our peoples, and I considered that calculated prior. Thus far, I consider it chatter that there was a legitimate plan in place to take alive Stevens. Nothing else points in that direction.
If it was just to get Stevens, then why attack the CIA complex?
