Easy. AC Cobra.
ALWAYS my first choice.
When I was in college, I went home for summer break. My folks, looking for a house, lived in a high-end apartment complex. Some guy had a Cobra parked in the lot!

BMW M1. Or a Shelby Mustang. Never got either, but I’ve been fortunate enough to drive some fun cars, so wherever he is these days, my 16 year old self should be satisfied =).

As far as the 911, I'm partial to the earlier Targas with Fuchs alloys. I'm sure more serious rubber on later, whale-tailed models dealt more effectively with the oversteer, but they're just not as pretty as the early ones, to me at least.

Tough choice for me.
Mustang Mach 1 428 DOHC or a Javelin AMX 401...with the 4BBL carb...
Decisions, decisions!

1935 ford flathead with water injector. 1.5 inch plumbing pipe from the header pipe. The glorious sound of storefront windows shattering when letting off the gas at 30mph in first gear. Knowing that no cop car could catch me before I got to the county line.
Actually that was when I was 13...Having gotten my license when I was 12 (soon after those 2 a-bombs were dropped on the japs).

72 Chevelle SS. Closest I came was about fifteen years later, when I picked up a '72 Chevelle with a 327 that had been tricked out with a 750 CFM Rochester Q-jet, Hooker headers, Thrush pipes, and custom exhaust. Lift kit on the back. Fitted it with a four-speaker AM/FM/cassette stereo, tach, and full gauges, and it was enough to turn heads and get me some back seat action. Sounded like God coming home for dinner early when I punched it up past 2.5K, too. I miss that car.

Awesome, Super, I am truly jealous. You lived in a glorious time: I too have been fortunate to avoid the hideous place today's youth faces.

My dream car was my father’s red MGB. Lucky for me, he let me drive it. :)

I’d hear grown up men talk about he El Dorado. One day running thought a parking lot I came across this baby. Red with white leather interior. I loved this car.
