Please list your top 5 VP picks for Donald Trump. This is assuming the campaign of Ted Cruz will collapse tomorrow, and Trump will cruise into Cleveland.
Scott Walker is my hunch. Proven leader, but also satisfies the GOPe appetite in a similar manner George H.W. Bush did with Reagan.
Kasich. Deliver Ohio and he can handle Congress.
Rubio for Florida. Youth and Hispanic bases covered.
Allen West. Keep the race card at bay.
Condi Rice. Experienced foreign policy but has Bush baggage.
Look at the swing states. Picking a VP to narrow the female gap and pick up a swing state would be a smart strategic play.
I like Condi Rice, but she is attached at the hip to the Bushes, so she would never join a Trump ticket.
