Today in Indiana Carly Fiorina represented the visible metaphor for the Ted Cruz campaign when she literally fell off the stage and Ted Cruz ignored her distress.
You cant make this stuff up folks:

I’m glad she wasn’t hurt, but that clip would certainly make the final three on America’s Funniest Home Videos.
Is that your opus? I’m in tears.
CNN says she was addressing a crowd in San Antonio, a womens’ business convention. Other sources say it was Indiana.
It’s sort of a continuation of Cruz’s mental status. After all he did imply at the debates that he would rather have people die in the streets than have government help out.
Oh, that’s right! I remember that happening. My bad. Sorry about that. Didn’t catch the date.
Perhaps she felt since Carly was not giving Ted the necessary push in the polls, then why bother helping her.
Boy oh boy.
That is pretty damn damning.
Those are the rules. If you watch Ted after she dives for the delegate, you can almost see him thinking 'oooh! Delegates ...!' and then you see his head and eyes go straight to the floor, even as he skillfully shakes voters hands while actually focusing on spotting delegates.
So he wasn't ignoring her, on the the contrary, he was doing what presidents do to capture delegates. Ted won 5 states in a landslide, and Trump is afraid to debate him. Trump couldn't even run a lemonade stand, and Cruz doesn't copulate with rats.
If Cruz were president, America would obviously get a lot more delegates.
Isn’t it something that Trump can spot a person that is not feeling well in a crowd of thousands and ask if they are okay?
D’oh!
No idea. I watched a few times, looked like a guy in grey suit hurried over and helped her out. Must be SS.
A metaphor for the Cruz campaign.
Cruz is surrounded by people in the crowd, talking to people, and he probably has bright television lights aimed directly at his face. It is completely plausible that he didn't see her fall, and/or did not recognize that it was Fiorina who had fallen. Cruz didn't "definitely" see anything.
This Republican primary season is full of GOTCHA moments that aren't what they are touted to be. This is just another one. Both the Cruz and Trump camps push this cr_p, and I am sick of it.
The fall of DAGON. after day one... the hands and head broke.
Later they all got boils and tumors up the kazoo... not a pretty way to go to the potty....
Ted “face of god” cruz, needs to get out of the race.
He is a false face of god.
the next step... may not be so pleasant for his campaign or followers.
Remember when a woman fainted at a Trump rally and Trump stopped the show until she was attended to ? Remember when Carson didn’t hear his name called and Trump stayed with him but the others ALL passed them by thinking only of themselves?
Remember the times Trump has stopped his rallys, gone down from the stage and talked to a person with a problem, one on one? Remember the Vet who couldn’t get taken care of at the VA and Trump took care of it? i guarantee nobody would have fallen anywhere near Trump that he wouldn’t have seen and tried to help. Trump is aware and Trump cares. Not Cruz.
People try to portray Trump as something other than he is.
The man has a heart and a soul, and he is honorable.
I think he is a decent man.
Ringling a Brothers? The Canadian calls them the Hoopling Brothers. ;)
More nonsense. Trump also ignored her fall and for the same reason. With the noise, Cruz couldn’t hear her fall, and his back was turned so Cruz didn’t hear her fall. Stuff happens, and it’s not always proof that Cruz is part vampire and part Orc.
The biggest criticism of Cruz is that he didn’t give up to make way for Trump. ~~Yawn~~ Trump is going to take the nomination anyways, and Cruz is a much better backup if something happens to Trump’s health than Kasich would be - read Kasich on immigration, Obamacare, the Assault Weapons Ban, gay marriage, Obama’s Supreme Court nomination, and other issues! Trump is also doing a terrible job of choosing convention delegates (look at how many Cruz has “stolen” by following the rules strategically, when Trump, despite his popular support, didn’t bother trying). I’m glad Cruz is choosing those delegates, since at least they are not establishment.
Trump’s best odds are with those Cruz-loyal delegates who are bound to Trump on the first ballot but won’t pull any rules shenanigans to stick an establishment candidate in Trump’s place. If Trump won’t make the delegate choices to prevent establishment nonsense, we’re lucky that Cruz will.
For those who object to Cruz based on his birthplace, I’m okay with that. I disagree on the meaning on “natural born citizen”, but concluding that he is ineligible is a completely reasonable interpretation of the Constitution (it’s my preferred interpretation, but the precedent says otherwise, and I follow precedent when it’s also at least reasonable).
For those who disagree with Cruz on the issues, please point at where you disagree with him on a key issue based on the positions on his website or on a reference site like http://www.ontheissues.org/Ted_Cruz.htm or even the totality of his votes (not a single vote in isolation).
But criticizing Cruz for not seeing something behind his back? Really? Can’t the rest of the Trump voters (I voted for Trump five days ago) just enjoy our 1000-plus delegates and treat a fellow conservative (and temporary opponent) with respect?
Yes, I remember all those things plus I remember all the busboys and waiters at Trump Plaza restaurant would told me to vote for Trump because he was a wonderful man. I’ll take a busboy’s opinion over any lousy, corrupt pol or media person. Go, Trump!
