President Obama’s eldest daughter, Malia, has made a decision about where she will attend college. And she has chosen Harvard University.
Malia, who is due to graduate from high school next month, will enter Harvard in the fall of 2017, the White House said Sunday. She will take a “gap year” before beginning her freshman year at the Cambridge, Mass., school, the Obamas said.
Malia had visited at least a dozen elite public and private colleges, including Columbia (where President Obama earned his bachelor’s degree), Princeton (where first lady Michelle Obama earned hers), Brown, Yale, the University of Pennsylvania, New York University, Stanford, Tufts, Berkeley, Barnard and Wesleyan.

It would also be interesting, since we’ll never see her SAT scores, if a Sidwell Friends classmate of hers will divulge what type of student Malia was.

Amy Carter was accepted at Brown University. Never graduated. Dismissed for academic reasons.

Generally anyone that goes to Harvard has a scholarship. Very very few students there have to pay.
Then how do they make money?
Harvard has a huge, 37.6 Billion dollar endowment. They don’t need to make money
Not going to college in the last year of her father’s presidency is not a bad idea.
Springer Verlag published a general-reader statistics book in the 1980s that had a chapter on using computer programs to analyze literary style. Literary style has its own fingerprints that can identify who wrote what.
The Springer Verlag book told how it was used to determine who wrote the various Federalist Papers originally published under pseudonyms.
Later, such a computer program was used to help prove that Ed Klein was "Anonymous" who wrote the book on the Clinton campaign.
But I haven't seen any such analysis to compare Obama's books to Bill Ayers' writing style. In any event, there was no MSM publicity, unlike the Ed Klein case.
Gap years are incredibly stupid.
