I dispense good advice. Would you rather hear he was found hanging in a closet? He has problems. He needs assistance. I would not egg this man on to dwell on martial law. But it appears you are OK with it.
Just try to remember that you and your loved ones need to try to look at all the media and forms of entertainment as a way to manipulate and distract you from things that are real and important. Entertainment is good , I believe all things are neither good or bad but merely “are” and that it’s what we do or perceive that makes them ‘good or bad”.
There are studies out that show our “free will” is not as free as we think and that a bias is built in as a defense mechanism. So your thoughts on flexibility are neither good or bad but a method in which you can adapt and survive in a changing environment.
The rants and pounding of the chest as to “what I’m gonna do” might not be productive. It neither changes anyone’s opinion (but lets your enemies know yours) or changes the macro-societal changes. The key is survival of you and your family. If it comes down to bad scenarios, well then it’s going to be nasty. I’ve seen civil disorders, my grandfather fought in a civil war as well as a religious/political war and NOBODY gets out unscathed.
BUT... your thoughts I think are correct..being “flexible” allows you to not be programmed into simple algorithms and increases you and your family’s survival.. I think.

If push comes to shove how long do you think local law enforcement will even be in the mix? In week so many will be dead or out of action the rest will refuse to out on the street. They are not trained military and are not hero’s. Most of them can’t shoot for chit. They will just go home.
Again let me repeat that there are not enough military in this country to subjegate three large cities. Most would refuse to go against their own people anyway.

I thought we were talking about martial law. The people arrested for the Bundy incident were out walking around in plain sight. They will now go through the court system and we will see what happens. If we were in a martial law situation where the conflict had begun things would be different.
In addition I would point out that defying the govt may come at a cost. Historically it has happened time and again.
What happens, historically speaking, when the government defies the people? What happens when the military complies with a defiant government, like say in a Jade Helm public infiltration situation, or when law enforcement follow orders like shutting down war memorials or releasing then of thousands of criminal alien invaders, historically speaking? In light of recent history, can we really count on the military and law enforcement to refuse to follow the orders of a defiant government?
Well if this thing unravels you will get the chance to find out.

I’d rather not. I prefer to stop it from happening. You’ve been expressing a lot of faith in the system. But you and I aren’t on the same page. I’ve seen the convenient, civilized, traditional preventative mechanisms like voting, representation, law and order, justice, national security, etc. be made ineffective by system wide corruption. Congress has not will not impeach Obama. The military has not will not mutiny Obama. Local law enforcement is being pressured, intimidated and compromised by the fed. I use to look on police and soldiers with sentimental affection. But now when I see a uniform I find myself thinking twice. Is this one going to protect and serve, or are they going to follow orders? Our options have been eliminated to the most primitive choice: Live together? Or die alone?
