He also spoke out against North Carolina’s decision to strike down Charlotte’s so-called bathroom bill.
“The problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic punishment that they’re taking,” he said on the "Today Show." With all due respect, the problem in North Carolina was big business trying to bully and intimidate moms and dads who want to protect their daughters.
“In the last 48 hours, Donald Trump has come out for grown men going into the bathrooms with little girls,” Cruz said. “That is politically correctness on steroids

The MSM, Obama regime; Dems; LGBT created a problem where none really existed, and N. Carolina over-reacted to the drumbeat. This is what Trump said, and he is right. A problem was created where none really existed. If anything, it is men dressed as women going into men’s bathrooms that gets the most reaction. Most Trannies know this so they dont do it. Trannies aren’t that eager to create such scenes, so they act out in safe places, and mes and womens bathrooms aren’t one of them.
As for Teddy Cruz, whom I no longer can even stand, as usual he throws out red herrings. He says who would let a young child into a bathroom with a Tranny in there. And I say, what parent would let a young child go into the bathroom alone in the first place? No parent in their right mind. There are all sorts of perverts out there, pedophiles, women stealing children, homos, child molesters. Teddy the liar strikes again. Teddy is scum.

you have to watch your kids in public bathrooms, boys or girls... not literally watch them but hang around the outside to hear if someone needs help.. public bathrooms are just a horrible necessity..

I would suspect that if you got him drunk (I know, he’s a teetotaler) and really delved into the man’s beliefs he’s probably one of the last of that near extinct breed we used to call a Sam Nunn Democrat. Patriotic to the core but Liberal on social issues. He, or someone like Sen. Nunn, could never be nominated by today’s Out From Under the Bed Red Democratic Party. But a coalition of frustrated Republicans and disenfranchised patriotic Democrats might just be a winning coalition. But at some point he will need to start sounding less like a TV reality shock show host and more like a president.
Lets see, keep the Mexicans out of the country but let perverts in the bathroom. Not a good deal in my opinion. And the opinions of the President mean a lot even though he doesn’t make laws. Or isn’t supposed to.
It’s refreshing that Democrats are concentrating on the important issues facing America. Topmost on everyone’s mind has always been who gets what toilet.
Who are the conservative congressmen and politicians?
The word means nothing because there is no baseline.
If Trump builds a wall or even cuts illegal immigration in half, it will more than cover his lack of “conservative” credentials.
I do not think Cruz is a particularly bad person. I think it more fair to say that under the tremendous pressure of a Presidential campaign that he see's slipping away he has had some moral failings and done and said some things for expediency that he would not do in other circumstances.
It is my hope that he can recover some of the respect I used to have for him before his awful shifting of blame after the Chicago attack on the Trump rally.
It may be true he is not the angel he potrays himself as, but no politician is. And he is on the conservative side and we need all the help we can get against the left.
After all, the country as a whole has pivoted left greatly. Anybody remember when Dick Cheney came out in favor of sodomite marriage?
Or it could have been that he pulled the wool over conservatives’ eyes during the primary season, particularly in the more conservative parts of the country.
Since he is an outsider and has no record of governance, we won’t be able to predict if he’ll govern as a conservative or a liberal when it comes to social issues. And we won’t know until after 1/20/17.
But, regardless, since he’s the presumptive nominee, we have a choice:
- Roll the dice with Trump not knowing 100% whether he is the NY Leftist Businessman, a former leftist who has come to a realization that conservatism is correct, or a full-blown libertine in favor of cheap illegal labor, government health care (to spin off the costs from business), abortion on demand (or as demanded...in order to get rid of undesirables), and sodomy in the streets.
- Go with a dyed-in-the-wool leftist like the Hildabeast, where we know what she’ll do and none of it will be good.
Even though I’m not a Trump supporter, I prefer to gamble with the former than accept the sure-loser with the latter.
None of that matters when he’s the only one giving voice to the concerns of the left-behinds of the Great Society, while everyone else is playing the same old political games that have gotten us nothing.

Cripes, I grew up in a one-bathroom house with four women, and WE didn't spazz out into uncontrollable conniptions as readily or wildly over this as the Cruzers do! ;)

Liberals pass laws pro-LGBT bathrooms.....
Conservatives pass anti-LGBT bathrooms.....
Yet there is no real problem across the country......

...but out of over 300 million people not a real problem....
Trump stated, why pass laws, just leave it alone it seems to be working fine the way it was....
