" Target Corp. made it clear Tuesday that transgender people who visit its stores are welcome to use the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity.
The statement by the Minneapolis-based retailer comes amid debates in many state legislatures over restricting public restroom use to the sex listed on a person’s birth certificate.
While many of those conversations have centered around restrooms in public schools and government buildings, Target appears to be one of the first big-box retailers to take a proactive stance in declaring its position on the matter when it comes to its own restrooms.
While they may not be technically public, restrooms in stores are often the most easily accessible and widely available options outside of people’s homes and workplaces.
Target’s position also extends to its fitting rooms.
“Inclusivity is a core belief at Target,” the company said in a statement on its corporate website. “It’s something we celebrate. We stand for equality and equity, and strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day.”

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE is not a difficult response for crap like this. If enough of us, the 99.9%, start going to opposite rest rooms, Target will simply have to pull back, as they’ll start losing their 99.9% of customers that don’t see a need to make a political statement.

I was in there last week to use their optical department. (My eye doctor does NOT work for Target; he just leases space.)

I just called my local Target store and asked them if they were allowing men into their ladies bathrooms. The woman at the customer service desk hemmed and hawed and then said “I don’t think so, uh...I don’t know. I’ll have to connect you with the manager.” I waited for about 10 seconds and then put down the phone. Not sure if the manager ever got to the phone.
I figure if I call them every day to ask and if others around the country call them they will become very aware why business if off. Not only that the employees will become very aware of the men in their bathrooms. LOL
Target was already on my bad list due to dissing the bell ringers at Christmas, so I can’t go there even less......wish I could, though. Maybe I’ll go once, then never again.
I see the direction I am heading — I will have to limit my shopping to religiously-owned stores. This is easy for me, since I live among Orthodox Jews.
The alternative to physically avoiding these places is to shop online. I would still want to avoid Target as much as possible, though.
I have several million is investments of which I own $27,000 in stocks of Target. Target just sold their pharmacy dept., their pharmacy supplies and so on to CVS to have branded CVS instore of Target, they did this to have a lot of money to engage a “share buy back” of their own Target stocks to reduce the overall public share and this artificially push up the price per share of Target to make it appear to the investors that Target is “doing good”.
I am going to SELL all of my Target stock, this bathroom outrage will attract every freak to do sexual antics, including against children, in the bathroom, and the only reason Target is doing this is because they want favors from the Obamanists after they had their credit card/debit readers all hacked by an insider job from some “immigrants” they hired who took jobs away from Americans.
I will stop shopping Target, I am sick of all of this.
As I said on another Thread, they should just Post new Signs on the Restroom Doors. For the Men’s Room, “Vagina Free Zone” and for the Ladies Room, “Penis Free Zone”.
After all, Liberals want “Gun Free Zone” Signs adhered to.

...and when a young girl or woman is raped in that equal bathroom, whose fault will it be, Target?
The problem is security. You are in the stall, and a man locks the outside door on you. Or pulls a gun on women inside.
Of course, their ultimate aim is to eliminate all gendered bathrooms.
Time for Target to go the same way as J.C.Penny. I won’t go to Target again.
